Hello
I stay in Windsor as a PR and recently got my H1B extension approved. Since the stamping has expired on 30th sep can I still travel for work using my I-797A copy? I’ve my stamping appointment in couple of months but meanwhile if I want to travel to Detroit can I use my I-797A ?
Also is there a WhatsApp Group for Windsor - Detroit people and if yes, can you pls add my number to that ?

1) preferred premium, I would recommend to wait until approved as your i94 will change it you leave US
2) getting stamping will he waste of daye, if you have option to work from Canada. This would be best option
3) after approved yes AVR, during is not recommended

Hi,
I am currently work in Chicago with H1B visa and having a Canadian PR. Right now, my Canadian address is in Surrey with my parents. To maintain my status, I need to go to Canada almost every weekend in the next 2 years. So my plan is (shorter term):
Fly to Detroit and drive to a rental in Windsor on Friday night and back on Monday morning.

To do this, I am doing:
1. Applied for Nexus,
2. Trying to get United "around the world" ticket for better and more stable price,
3. Getting a commute car.
4, Renting a place in Windsor.

My question are:
1. Do you guys with more experience have any suggestions?
2. Should the new car be registered in Ontario, BC, Michigan, or Illinois?
3. Can I drive in Ontario with a IL or MI? Do I need an Ontario DL or register in Ontario if half of the time it will park in a parking lot near DTW?
4. Am I missing something to consider?

Any opinion is much appreciated.
