Hello
I stay in Windsor as a PR and recently got my H1B extension approved. Since the stamping has expired on 30th sep can I still travel for work using my I-797A copy? I’ve my stamping appointment in couple of months but meanwhile if I want to travel to Detroit can I use my I-797A ?
Also is there a WhatsApp Group for Windsor - Detroit people and if yes, can you pls add my number to that ?

hello,
I have moved to Canada on PR and still working on H1B (Daily commute), living in Windsor, So N. Stamped h1 visa expired last week, having i797A till 2015 Feb.
My H1B (i94) is going to expire and need new extension and going to start the process.
*I am still having a home in US(rented out)

How to proceed the extension process
1. Do I need to be inside US during start from application , till gets approval? Considering premium process
2. OR apply for extension with Consular process at Canada?
3. Can I use AVR and travel after the filing? Or need to wait until the package delivered /receipt notice generated?
1) preferred premium, I would recommend to wait until approved as your i94 will change it you leave US
2) getting stamping will he waste of daye, if you have option to work from Canada. This would be best option
3) after approved yes AVR, during is not recommended
