Question regarding in process, there doesn't seem to be a second line when I click on the In Process button, only the first line specifying when they received my app, will this update later today/tomorrow?

So just the link says "in processing" ? Who knows with ecas, all you can do is wait and see.

Yeah, it shows In Process on the main page of ECAS, but when I press it to read the details, there's just the one line saying when my app was received.

Mine shows the same thing + medical results received.

Thanks Aquakitty!!!

It was funny because the whole "Rainbow Bridge" thing makes me think of the place pets wait when they die...

It was a lot like that!!!

;D

Congrats Figtoria! Glad you got through that rough landing. You'd think with a name like "Rainbow Bridge" it would be a magical place to enter Canada, stupid reality :P

And congrats to all the people with movement on their apps, SA FTW!

My timeline is very similar to yours (within a week of both app received and sponsor approval) and only shows the first "your application was received" line despite going In Process last week

Have seen others who applied around the same time as us also reporting this.

I think it's something to do with the entering of the medical results to the system about the time we got sponsor approval but I've also seen that CIC seem to be aware of it so I don't think it's anything to worry about.

Just curious, when you log on ecas is there a third line item that states "we have started processing your application on XXXX date"?

No, nothing is showing up except for what has always been on there (date received + medicals received)

Honestly, that's kind of a relief for recent IP'ers to know that you, along with some earlier applicants do not see a third line either, because your app is clearly due for a decision. Maybe it's CIC's new way of updating ECAS.

Hope the apps keep moving quickly

Question for everyone?

I applied August 2014. Had SA since Dec 2014(mistake at CIC)

I finally received a request from CIC: "Medical: Complete or provide proof of completion of the Immigration medical examination. "

Does this mean they have never received our upfront medical(which is now expired) or is this their way of requesting a re-medical.

What wording did others receive when receiving a re-medical request?

If this is stating they never received it, I'd be curious where the rest of our file is. If you know how much they screwed up the first stage you'd understand my concern.

Thanks!

Sorry to hijack this thread, but because I'm new, it appears I can't make a new topic? :'(

I have a concern.... I applied for PR through Ottawa and landed with Condition 51 in 2013. My condition has recently expired. I've read that CIC or CBSA may do random audits. Does anyone know if this is true or how they contact you?

I'm asking because after I landed and found a job, we moved. I tried to update my address in MyCIC, but it appears the system has changed. It no longers recognizes my UCI or my application number. (I tried my husband's information as well.) I'm not sure how to log in at all anymore! Is this something I need to be concerned with? My husband says I worry too much.... he's probably right!

Thank you.

You're fine. While CIC can do random condition-51 audits, they seem to happen very rarely. Besides that, you are under no obligation to tell CIC your address after you have landed and have received your PR card, so if they want to audit you it's their job to find you first.

Does your ECAS say anything about your medical being received?

If not, maybe emailing them a copy of your upfront printout would help.

No, unfortunately our ECAS is one of those awesome ones that still only state Application received August 2014.

I get a feeling I sent in the one from the doctor without scanning a copy of it :(

Does anyone know during which part of the process that Ottawa reviews medicals? I know that when we receive AOR, for many, ECAS will show "2. Medical results have been received."

So are medicals reviewed immediately (aka once they are received?) or are they reviewed once the PR application is officially "in process?"

The reason that I ask is because we inquired whether or not my "IN PROCESS" file showed that my police report was received (I used a channeler as a placeholder and I wanted to see if they noted it as received before I sent the real one), and the agent told us that she saw:

1. My medical results passed (hmm, does this just mean received?)
2. Husband was approved for SA
3. Criminality and security has not been noted as received or processed. (I'm guessing this means they haven't gotten to this part yet?)
4. No notes asking for any supplementary documentation at this time.

So, I was hoping that maybe some of you could shed some light on when medicals are reviewed. If medicals are reviewed in Ottawa, then my file is an example of a recent IP file that is actually being processed and not sitting in a pile with a misleading IP status on ECAS.

Thoughts? Any updates from anyone? Thanks all! :)
