If the trend of the last few months continues, I'd say your estimate is about right, but I also think that some resources are going to be diverted to the old Buffalo applicants because there seems to be some pressure on the government to get that done, which might slow us down for a month or so. Even that would be faster than I thought the process would take when we started, but I guess we'll find all this out soon enough.

If I'm reading this right it's averaging 4 months from sponsor approval to PPR and they don't seem to send AORs for stage 2. I could be in for a nice surprise this week lol

We got our Decision Made on e-cas today too! I have no idea when it happened because this was the first time in over a week we were able to log in and had to use our file number instead of the UCI. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that any day now we will be getting the brown envelope in the mail!!!!

wow, that's a crappy timeline you have there - kudos for sticking it out! let's keep each other posted on what happens with this meds renewal thing. I'm sure others will be interested how it plays out.

I'm lucky that I am actually in Canada with my husband, so aside from the 'not being able to go to work, bored out of my mind, can't repaint anymore walls in the house to relieve aforementioned boredom' it's not as bad as some peoples situations.

I'm trying to tell myself that this week i'll hear something I'll be calling the helpline to see if they have actually recieved the med results yet (don't know if they will tell me or not!) tomorrow, and see how we go from there.

Our file was approved in Mississauga on Jan 7 and sent to Ottawa for processing.

Our VO was supposed to be Beirut, but they are probably sending to Ottawa to help clear the backlog in Beirut.

Files that are transferred to Ottawa that actually belong to a VO abroad, (i.e. Islamabad) follow the processing time for Islamabad and not Ottawa. Please correct me if I am wrong?

I hope I am wrong too..because my VO's time is 28 months so just imagine me . I am pretty sure that they follow the processing time for the VO abroad though.
