I am a Pharm D graduate from India.
I have got an admit in Sheridan college for Community Pharmacy Assistant Program.
I have an overall IELTS score of 7 L-7.5, R-7.5, S-7, W-5.5
Will there be problem obtaining a study permit, considering that i am Pharm D graduate
(its pursued after 10+2 and is a 6 Year program, its a new course in india and our actual job profile is clinical pharmacist unfortunately we don't have any such profile in India and we are forced to take up hospital pharmacy or retail pharmacy jobs which are not rewarding here) also Its considered as a bachelor program here.
Coming to my question will it be easy for obtaining a study permit considering i am pharmacist here applying for a pharmacy assistant program?

If the degree that you already have is considered a bachelor and now you are applying in a undergrad program, that may pose some problems unless you make a strong LOE

I am Pharm D graduate from Kerala. Wat u told is true about the job scope here. But if ur academic profile is strong u shud rather consider graduate level courses than opting for certificate or diploma programs. Since studying this course u mentioned wont make you eligible for PEBC examinations, if you have time to reconsider ur decision apply to universities. Universities like Waterloo, Toronto, Alberta, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Memorial Univ and BC all have graduate programs in pharmacy (I hope I haven't left out any). U can opt for pharmacology MS as well.
I know my suggestion is not useful for your current query. Pls jst take it as a piece of suggestion from a Pharm D graduate to another fellow PharmD graduate...
Overall it is ur life and ur decisions... Anyone can make suggestions...Right???
Sorry that I am not having enough knowledge enabling me to answer ur specific query :(

Hello thank you for the suggestions. its really nice to here from a fellow Pharm D graduate.
The problem is even if i do Ms program i will have to write up all PEBC exams also take up their expensive bridging program.
Also almost all these MS programs require a work experience and research articles for admission. I graduated one month back.
I want to stick to working as a pharmacist , not interested in research feild
While doing these diploma programs we can get an exposure to the pharmacy system of Canada and will help in clearing the pebc exams later on.
