Your profile seems fine to me,you'll most likely get it(assuming that everything thing else is fine,fees,pof etc), and from what I know visa rejections from other countries do not affect the canadian visa. Hope you get it, good luck.

Hi , sorry for taking this long to reply, I don't know about that ,but even if you are not eligible for spp , go for the general, I applied in the general category and got approved. I hope somebody else answers that question, and you are welcome,good luck.

When I submitted my application ,the process time was 6 weeks, after submitting it went to 4 weeks,so I was quite surprised. Let's hope for the best.
