I heard that starting OB 407 and the new forms where more residency docs are submitted some applicants got processed in as little as 8 month...

My application was recd in 2011 Aug. started processing in Feb 2012. Still did not receive call for citizenship test. shows 'in process' online.

What do you say about this time line?

You need to call CIC soon to confirm your mailing address. I was in the same situation....waited since Aug 2011...apprently in 2012 they sent me a RQ letter but I never received it. I am not saying you would receive RQ but make sure to call and confirm mailing address.

Processing started: 10th Nov 2012
Still has status " In process".

Has anyone received news from Immigration? Some say it takes about 5-9 months between processing and test date. Is that valid?

I started my application in August 2011 in Vancouver. I had RQ in June 2012. I had my test in February 14. I don't know whether I have passed the test or not. Now I am waiting for the result of the test/the oath/immigration judge (depends on the result of the test). I am fed up with the procedure, but it is beyond my control/our control

Our timeline so far has been documents were received in Mississauga on March 11/13 then CIC approval and everything forwarded to Manila on April 15th. So not too painful there actually a week ahead of posted time. It would be nice to use your UCI number to find out where you are in the process. By the looks of the threads I have read here so far it is painfully slow in Manila and the processing has been contracted out.

It is about the same as my situation. Applied in Vancouver. However you got the test...I haven't. It looks like everything is heading on a good direction for you. Cheers

Got a call from Canada Post to let me know my application was delivered to the CPC on April 5th, but CIC's system doesn't show anything indicating that they received it. Anyway, will wait. At least now I know my application is no longer lost.

Is it faster the processing time since they require the language exam?
