Not all the agents will tell you the details, order the ATIP file and you will see all the details there.

BTW, Wife received invitation for Oath mid December for Jan 15 by mail, till now eCas is not showing that.. guess this is a measure for those who live abroad and did not notify CIC.

Why some users judge people bluntly? Most likely she landed in early 1999 and left mid 2002, after living 3 years and applying for the citizenship! Then had a kid later in 2002 and did not have the time to add him to the application.. By then no one obliged residents to stay and they did not...

Go to the embassy in Lebanon, it is in Jal el dib, they will support you there and will tell you what you need.

I got it all done in 11 month.. from end of Nov 2-13 to beginning of November 2014. it took them 8 month to transfer to local office, from there it was pretty fast.. Test and Oath same day Good luck

Why not to withdraw and reapply.. now the cases move really fast

Update: Wife got Oath invite today for the ceremony on Jan 15. eCas still not showing the update. Letter dated Dec 16. Test (Jul 23rd) to Oath almost 6 month. ATIP shows Decision granted August 22nd.

I meant ATIP.. eCas is the online check tool you have at CIC. you need to access the file information.. order it online and see what notes you have on file.
