    April 2013 applications

The first passport (issued in 2006) had 3 biographical pages, and the new one (issued in 2012, new model) has 2 biographical pages.

Including a letter explaining your situation, I believe.

    April 2013 applications

It doesn't show anything on ecas. I'll send it as a new one (because of the modifications which will be made) and include the letter they sent about it being incomplete along with an explanation for the update. Maybe the application being returned will actually be better. What made me very...

    April 2013 applications

So frustrating... If we had forgotten to include the document, fine, but we didn't.

    April 2013 applications

That's a good idea, but there will have to be some modifications in the application and I don't know if that'll count as 're-submitting' or not, and how should I proceed. Also, I should just photocopy the entire passports, I don't want another application returned despite being complete.

    April 2013 applications

Yes, everything is stapled together (they stapled it) and absolutely no document is missing from the application. It's all there.

    April 2013 applications

I've been trying to contact them but once I get to the desired option the system says it's too busy and hang up. :(

    April 2013 applications

My application was returned (letter dated May 14; it was mailed May 15). Reason: they are asking me to "provide photocopies of the biographical pages of all passports for the (4) year period preceding the date of [the] application". But I DID include that.

    Citizenship Timeline 2013

Got a call from Canada Post to let me know my application was delivered to the CPC on April 5th, but CIC's system doesn't show anything indicating that they received it. Anyway, will wait. At least now I know my application is no longer lost. :)

    Thanks for the input.

Applying without CIC's copy of fee payment

Thanks for the answer. I have talked to Canada Post's customer service and they only will refund the mailing cost, which isn't even CAD$ 20. :(

Applying without CIC's copy of fee payment

I'm thinking of sending a photocopy of my client's copy along with an explanation of what happened to CIC's copy.

Applying without CIC's copy of fee payment

Hi everyone, I mailed my application on April 1st via Xpresspost but it never reached its destination, and Canada Post claims the package is nowhere to be found. That means I'll have to send another application. But CIC's copy of the proof of fee payment was in that package. Is there any...

    School Records

Two years and got a diploma. But I started my B.A. in January. Well, I'll call them and see what I can do about this. I didn't realize it wasn't only for language purposes that they asked for it (my reasoning: they wanted it for language purposes, thus only sent transcript of the program...

    School Records

    :'( I only included the university transcript from September 2010 - December 2012 (prior to September 2010 I wasn't studying). I don't have a transcript for January 2013 - Present yet. :( Now I'm slightly worried.

    Applying Visitor visa from USA

Visitor, since you just want to come visit. I'm not sure how the Consulate would take your application though, since you're only a visitor in the US. When I applied for a visa to come visit someone in Canada I had to prove my ties to the US and that I'd return to the US at the end of my trip...

    Applying Visitor visa from USA

B1/B2 isn't resident. Green Card holders are (or used to be, at least - I haven't checked in years) visa-exempt to Canada to visit the country, but it's not the OP's case.

Temporarily leaving the country: What happens after informing CIC?

Hi, Thanks for reading. I read on CIC's website that during the processing of the application for citizenship, if one "plan(s) on leaving Canada for more than two weeks in a row," they should inform CIC. My questions are: 1) if an individual has to temporarily leave Canada for a few...
