I like it it is funny, i thought 12 year old person doew not need to take test, am i wrong?its on the news now:
She doesn't need a test but if she applied with her parents she is also stuck because of the test. She cannot become a Canadian citizen before her parent. Her parents need to finish everything ( tests and oath) then her file can move to complete.I like it it is funny, i thought 12 year old person doew not need to take test, am i wrong?
Episode 1 We are in Limbo
Episode 2 School is doing better job than CIC
Thank you for keeping fighting for us!Way to go!** Sorry for the google translation errors which sometimes change the meaning of what I mean, I just corrected a mistake which gave a slightly inappropriate meaning ... Pardon if you had the time to read this before correcting .
That's interesting. So a minor child cannot apply for citizenship on their own?She doesn't need a test but if she applied with her parents she is also stuck because of the test. Of course he can ! ... And most of the developed countries allow it to my knowledge (In addition to having several laws protecting for `` unaccompanied minors '', for example in the European Union they are inexpulsable, de jure, (by the power of the law ).That's interesting. So a minor child cannot apply for citizenship on their own?
There are two ways for a minor to apply for a grant of citizenshipThat's interesting. So a minor child cannot apply for citizenship on their own?
This reminds me of Greta ThunbergThat's interesting. So a minor child cannot apply for citizenship on their own?
I do not blame CIC for not responding. I do not want to point fingers but comparing cic to school - maybe somebody needs to read Discover Canada book and education sysatem and government described there. The child is a refugee. I am sure that most of us can't even imagine what she has gone through and the difficulties as a family they are facing (not to discount the challenges all of us are also facing in our own ways). I admire the determination and her focus on the goal.
Watching the video it is interesting to note that IRCC did not respond to the questions around backlog, communication or any plans for citizenship testing online or otherwise as asked by the reporter/news channel. Does anyone understand why there is this lack of communication? The only thing I can think of is that maybe they have nothing to communicate or they are afraid to communicate that they are understaffed currently and hence no significant progress is made.
I don't know about you but I heard a couple of suggestions there. Move online or do it in person by following covid 19 guidelines, that is what she said.I do not blame CIC for not responding. Another video had words we are in limbo. People in the comments were very unhappy. What is limbo?
In video 1 or video 2 it feels like they try to attach rather than suggest a solution
Wording is a key
Sure she said. Easier to make videos than implement any of those.I don't know about you but I heard a couple of suggestions there. Move online or do it in person by following covid 19 guidelines, that is what she said.
In Christian theology, limbo was an edge or boundary area reserved for those who could not enter heaven because of not being baptised (esp/including the forefathers who lived before Christ/before baptism existed).Another video had words we are in limbo. In person? I am not sure all provinces in canada, but manitoba, sk and alberta are getting pretty strict on covid. Manitoba is on lockdown (i might be wrong)
Online? Let her use magic wand and implement pretty secure application that can catch cheaters
Who knows? May be they already work on the platform. They do not need to report on every single phase of the development.
She mentiones schools do good job? Is this because somebody used magic wand again and developed a platform or maybe schools switched to free in education google classroom which was developed in 2014? So thanks to covid we started to use a product that allows online learning which was developed 6 years ago.
This is just few points here.
reading your words makes me believe that the people in the video and you aren't talking about the same country. This is Canada a highly developed country and we are in 2020, Canada has the technology needed and the people needed to complete the job and implement a safe and secured online system for a 30 mins test. Maybe they are already working on it, why not communicate with the public? Yes, I truly believe in this country and I believe if people are willing to do it, they can do it nowadays nothing is impossible.Sure she said. Easier to make videos than implement any of those.
