Strawman? Read the last couple of pages on this thread, and see how many times you hinted people head over south. There's no need to change the mindset of 37 million people. 42% of the vote in 2019 went to Conservative/BQ. Canada is more than Liberal/NDP.
So what if they voted Conservative/BQ? Wasnt it you who said that neither Liberals or Conservative politicians are addressing the issues with Canada?

So what if I asked people to move south? I am helping them! Canada aint gonna change, the sooner people realize that, the better. If you want US economy, go to US. I might go myself!

It's about choosing the lesser of 2 evils
Let me give you the bad news. Even if Cons are in power for next 10 years, Canada will be nowhere near US or Germany or any other country you admire on the metrics that are important to you.

Most economic activity is provincial and we have had Conservative premiers in almost the whole country for a while. Harper was for power federally for almost a decade. Not much changed in terms of the metrics that you hold dearest.

This wont go away till election results, lol.

What do you want to do man? Most people wont join in person protests or anything that might give their identity away for fear of IRCC retaliation. Wont get any public sympathy either, do you read the comments below any immigration article in CBC or any other news outlet?

I think I read somewhere that IRCC is judged by number of GCMS inquiries. So if we all ask about our files, they will be pressured to move.

Where did you read that? That would be an interesting fact indeed, especially if it has consequences for them..

This. I remember reading in the past a couple of 'members' on this forum (in most likelihood IRCC plants) were annoyed at people's repeated requests for GCMS notes and were actively discouraging such action. I think I understand why now.

The federal workers' union seems more and more to be against the Conservatives, which is a good thing for the specific thing that interests us ...

The federal public service is not only 300,000 individuals, but also their families, relatives, friends ...

It's very good for us, I think.
Screw PSAC. I really wish they should be fired enmasse & give out a contract to Accenture (which is already developing online apps for CIC) or Deloitte to bring automation where ever possible.it’s not like they’re working anyway

Vote Conservative!!

Conservatives care about businesses & jobs whereas Liberals are about ‘handouts/refugees/Cerb’ payments

Privatization of public services costs more and provides poorer service, plus the government always ends up underwriting the risk. :D

Funny though as if right now it's costing less and the service is good . Looks like they are sh**ting on their pants right now, good. I don't mind privatizing if this mean more effective service ( most of the time the private sector get the job done on time and more effectively and they don't act like mafias).

If Liberals win we might see that Dancing Chimpazee good for nothing again.

namely Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) that has the greatest control over the nation’s immigration policies. For instance, IRCC determines national immigration levels as well as allocations for each province, processing times, and is the largest funder by far of the settlement and integration services offered across the country.

IRCC gets its direction from the political party that forms government after each federal election. Hence, the party that leads the country after September 20 will leave a lasting impression on the immigration system. The following is an overview of what you can expect and is based on the events that followed the 2015 and 2019 federal elections.

If they win, I hope at least they will shuffle the ministers. The current immigration minister has no clear vision and solid plan. He has kept talking about vague promises like meeting the target, with no clear vision or plan to tackle the backlog.
