Dear Mamoo, as mentioned earlier, being a PR you need to be in Canada and should provide proof of residence whenever asked. However, you can be out of Canada for vacation etc. If you are out of Canada for a time that make sense that it is just for vacation, to meet your spouse etc. it is fine, otherwise, CIC may think that you are not fullfilling the requirement of being in Canada during the process. Senior member can advise better.

Here is my application status

1 Aug 2010 = Application received in Missisagua
1 Sep 2010 = File transfered to Islamabad
19 Oct 2010 = AOR received ,Supplementry form and additional document required (Origional Nikhanama ,fees and medical---I already submit everything with my application)

Now ecase is showing medical received from last 1 month and I am waiting .........

Anyones elses ecase showing if medical received? my wifes process began in CHC-ISB on June 8, 2010 and to this date ecase only says that. Does not show medical status,

Applicants with 2010 AORs received with the AOR. Applicant before that just received the AOR and now with remedical requests they are receiving the supp forms and some other forms aswell.

What other forms CHC asks to fill in?

Some people have received the "Additional family members" form due to having babies. Also, I have seen people received "schedule 1 Background/Declaration" for the updated activities

If medical is going to expire, is it allowed to appear for re-medical without CHC request for re-medical, or we must wait untill CHC sends letter to go for medical again.

Hi, you should wait for CHC-Islamabad for re medical request.Applicant does not attempt 2nd interview itself.

My wife's process started on July 8, 2010. It does not show medical status, only in process.

Guys,

I want to know the application package you guys submitted.

Did you guys send medical,Police clearance,Original Nikhama and application fees with landing fees with your application or not.Also does it make any difference in processing time if we submit everything with application?
