Thank You, i have listened same from many people that it will not be easy to settle there because of weather condition, hard work and many more.

I am doing 10 hr Job and have very challenging position & task to complete as i am responsible for team performance.

If i am given any other job to do so i feel that i am annual leave even if i work 15hr a day.

So i am prepared and ready to accept all challenges which will lead me to my dream life ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

its not easy but its better financially,
weather i think human body adjusts to the weather, imagine all those people who are living there they must be doing fine to live there otherwise i am sure some of them can move but they don't.
i am in Vancouver but here your income isn't as much as someone makes in Saskatoon, taxes in Vancouver are more, living cost is more, so even if you are making 100,000.00$ a year, you are left with probably 60-65 after taxes unless you have your own business. but in saskatoon taxes are less, living cost is less, IT jobs aren't as much but there are tons of other jobs. you end up saving more. but on the other hand Vancouver is one hell of a beautiful place to live. literally beautiful with so much outdoor beauty but only if you are gonna enjoy it instead of just working all the time. so its really about what you want in life more than what different cities/ places have to offer.

Yes mention that too, so that they enter your cnic info in the system as they won't let you in before confirming your appointment and they do it by checking the passport no or cnic no. :)

Lol! That's nice of them. Although it would be a difficult situation for a person like me, who believes in eating healthy, so avoids halwa poori kind of greasy stuff!! :P

Hi All,

I have an exceptional scenario. Can someone please guide..

I got visa and its valid till September 2015. However my wife (sponsor) is here in Pakistan as we planned to move to Canada together. But due to a family wedding in August 2015 we wont be able to move until end of 2015. I don't want to take the risk and delay travel plans till so late when visa will just be about to expire.

So my question is... Can I make a 10 days round trip to Canada in January 2015 to do the landing? I have following 2 concerns:

1. Will immigration officer have any objection that the sponsor is in Pakistan and Applicant is coming alone on a return ticket
2. Will I be able to leave Canada without PR card? (I have my in laws who can courier my PR card to me once it arrives). But do they ask for PR card while someone is leaving Canada?

I know above is a rare situation.. but can someone please advise based on personal experience...

thanks

No problems. Immigration Department would not raise any eyebrows if you leave Canada once in a while particularly 1st trip but you need to do necessary arrangements ( paper work etc ) for your future permanent stay in Canada. How could you finish all in 10 days, I am not sure.
Re. leaving Canada with PR, you won't be able to re-enter Canada without PR Card and you know, it could take just over 3/4 months to get original PR.

Thanks AMJ for your answer. But what kind of paper work? I guess we don't need to apply for PR card after first arrival and it comes at the mailing address in Canada automatically.

its been 4 weeks since i sent PPr1, pcc and some updated forms. No ppr2 as of yet. So tired of this process now.
