No, this is not always true, I was sent PPR2 and after sending my PP to ISB I ve got remed request by LVO because my med was expired when I got PPR2. Just ask them to give you an appointment for remed as lvo requested. And put your name, DOB, PP no, visa category, city for screening n contact no. so what i am saying is yes you do need to get it verified and then get foreign office to verify it too, it might be helpful when looking for a job in Canada. welcome to Canada. where would you be settling in Canada BTW?
