The best you can do is to translate the english one into urdu. Because you can not prepare a back dated nikah nama

Thanks, As they have asked for copy, so i don't need to mail them the original nikah nama right? so just email the scanned Nikah Nama, its translation and the medical paper if they give any?

Hi & Aoa,

Congratulations to those who are receiving good news.... Plz pray for my PP return as its been a 3rd month now... Plz its over my head now and its becoming extremely difficult to wait further.... Kindly request all forum members to Pray for My PP return with Visa.... Thankyou.

Regards,
Omer Qureshi.

I think you should contact your MP to see what the hold is for? My wife sent her passport and it was received by Islamabad on October 13th. Yesterday my MP called me to let me know that London has printed her visa and sent to Islamabad and if we dont get her passport back in 30 days i should contact her so that she can ask Islamabad. You can ask your MP too. All the best!

i got this same email on September 3, 2014...got the medical forms the very next day. book ur appointment and u will get the forms in a day or two.

For the nikah nama i would suggest getting the urdu nikah nama asap....they requested me urdu nikah and translation in April. i sent them the english one, and in september they again requested urdu nikah nama. I am sure u dont wanna do this to urself.

Did you write the explanation with the English Nikah Nama that it was originally in English?

I originally got 4 sets of urdu nikah nama….which is certainly normal coz all 4 are for different purposes and then I requested my nikah khuwan to get me an English copy as well…mind u all these 5 were ORIGINAL.

And when LVO says certified copy, they want the original with all the necessary signatures, stamps and seals.

For some weird reason LVO thinks that ENGLISH nikah nama isn’t original but a translated copy of URDU nikah nama. I am not trying to scare you or something but just thought of letting u know what I have been through.

Yes. You just scan the translated copy and email. They already have the original so i dont think you need to give explanations about the translation.

But when people submit urdu nikah nama with certified english translated copy, wouldnt that work too. I guess it does. Because again that copy is certified from the registrar and all the concerned authorities.

Sending urdu nikah nama with certified translation is fine ….but LVO don’t want ENGLISH nikah nama.
Differentiate between English translation of urdu nikah nama and ENGLISH nikah nama istself.

The problem is I don't have any urdu nikah nama, I just have the English nikah nama and a marriage certificate in English. So sending the attested copy of the English nikah nama with attested urdu translation would be the best thing to do, right?

Well i think they need both. If you dont submit english nikah nama, they will ask for english translation.
English nikah nama just skips a step of translating urdu to english. So in actual they need both the docs and if you miss any in your application, they will ask for it wether you provide the original or its certified copy.

2. Secondly they did not email the additional email for remedical yet, is it normal? when will they send it?
3. Should I email them or send these documents through mail?

i never heard of urdu translation of english nikah nama, but if u think u can get one, go for it.

My advice to you would be dont email them these docs as they want the original....rather mail them all they want.
