guys need some advise: I am going to have a second marriage in Pakistan as my first wife passed away, what documents and things I have to keep in mind when getting married and what step to follow.i will go in December to get married its a arranged marriage.i would really appreciate your help.

In'shaa'Allh may Allah make it easy for you and your wife.

The process, to my knowledge, is the same but I would write a letter indicating the circumstances surrounding the second marriage and if you filed an application with your first wife, I would also indicate UCI/Client ID/File Number etc. to CIC so they can authenticate you are not a first time filer/sponsor.

No Naveed, i did not get anything from london, so i inquired them in April 2014 and they responded that your file is in london. I would advise you to send them an inquiry to ask about your file

I'm sorry to hear about ur first wife..... Did u sponsor ur first wife?... IF not u don't need to mention her unless there's a question in one of the forms about previous marriages.... how long has it been since she passed?.... the might question the timing if ur marrying second time immediately after first wife's death.....

u can find all the documents and guides on CIC website.... It would be worthwhile to take printouts with u as ur new spouse will need to sign on all forms..... There r specific forms for applicants from Pak so make sure u fill those.... Also bring all her original documents with u as you will need to submit Originals of everything from her side... also get her medical done while ur there n PCC as well..... she probably doesn't have a passport so u'll need to get that set up as well.... U'll need to get her passport pics taken.... For ur Nikah Nama.... make sure u get Urdu and English copies and have multiple copies as u will need to submit Originals with the application.... THis is not a requirement but u could also get ur wife's ID card updated to show that she's married.... get all these things done while ur there so once u get back to Canada u can submit them right away

order notes last year nothing was started at that time,,now i applied again on 29 sep so waiting for them,,,after that we will contact mp

i never heard of urdu translation of english nikah nama, but if u think u can get one, go for it.

My advice to you would be dont email them these docs as they want the original....rather mail them all they want.

They did not state to send the original, they said to provide a certified copy of Urdu Nikah nama and its translation
