Dear Applicant,

We are unable to advise when we will be in a position to return your passport issued with visa. In the meantime, if you require your passport back for travel outside Pakistan, please advise and we will arrange a delivery out to you. This would mean that you would be required to return your passport to our offices once you've finished with it.


This is the reply i got from CHC London i am quite depressed kindly pray that i receive my PP with visa issuance asap.

that clearly means delay is from London not Islamabad Embassy.... there's no impact of dherna on chc Islamabad working because if they can arrange to return your passport without visa on urgent basis they could have return it with stamped visa.. that means your passport isn't ready for visa stamp...!

BhAi g i thought they they did security checks before ppr2, as only security cleared people may get ppr2
But any idea how much time do they tKe in sec checks after recving pp.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but you may not get any of your documents back. We did not and my hubby arrived in February of this year (but I assumed that we would probably not get anything back, so I had made doubles of everything....) Some VO offices send it back, some just do not. I hope for your sake they return to you, as it sounds like you did not make copies...Hope everything is going good for you two!

Omer, I don't find anything in this text which is against you. It just shows a normal time because they are also saying that you need to send back your passport again if you want to get that at this point of time, this clearly shows that you are done with everything and soon you will get your passport with visa stamped on it. Be calm and cool and congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PPR 2 email it clearly states that "you should be without passport for 4 weeks if you don't receive it by then, then contact our office" ..

so yes its a problem they have his passport for over a month .. but its not a security, background or criminality issue .. I read on skilled worker's forum that CHC London is MOVING .. hence its taking them long to print visas and send to Isb .. ( I'm not sure about if the printing is done in London or not, but thats the story behind the delay, at least looks like it)


another guy on skilled worker's forum got the same reply from London .. so its a copy/paste!

I dont think so if its the case then they havn't sent me the PPR2.

No Its Not like that becaz i received an email on 2nd sep, 2014 which stated that PP isunace was scarce from CHC ISB due to Protests so this is the main issue there is no issue in my file .
