I think AW23 said if the baby is born in Canada, you do not have to tell the embassy .. how hard is it to understand?
what will embassy do anyways? The child will be a Canadian citizen .. only contact embassy when its time to apply for passport ..
simple as that. its not like any parent is stupid enough and will try to take the baby out of Canada without a passport

If she is a Canadian Citizen no Problem and maybe I missed this somewhere.
As I have said get the Long Form Birth Certificate where its states both Parents names. Then take it from there.
Another thing it has happened many times where a person has tried to take babies across the borders I'm not being combative but my words are true facts. Its better to get all yours I dotted and t's crossed, to be on the safe side In Sha Allah

if you have ever been to MP's office you will know that they ask you to fill a few forms before processing you request to look in to the file ..thats what she is talking about

When you go to MP's Office and you want them to inquire about your case you need to fill out an Access to Information or any TOM ,DICK, OR HARRY can get info on your case FYI!!!!

People request ATIP from their own PC's, there is no need goto MPs office - if its a case of Thomas, Dicksosn and Harry, then they need to know your File # isn't it ?

Please don't push any religious comments on me - I am just trying to clarify information and I am not aware of your indention - you don;t need to go to MPs office for ATIP. if you have such confidence, leave this thread and confirm in main thread and see how your doubts are cleared.

Most common thing to check would be "notes" made at the end of the file you received. There is also criminality and security checks in file, it will just state whether these checks have been started or not. You can just search for these words in the file [using CTRL+F]

LANDING PAPER(you will get it when you will receive your pp back with visa)

As soon as your plane leaves the run way pakistani id card is no more usable until you have to renew your pp in Canada or apply for NICOP or visit to Pakistan.
