hira how u get your polio vaccination certificate? did you show your passport to get the certificate

Hello,
The process to get polio vaccination in Pakistan to go abroad is quite simple, yet many of us end up mis-guided my various hospitals and personnel.

After wasting a whole day yesterday I eventually got my polio certificate and it only took 20 minutes.

All you need to do is to go to the Town Health Office (THO) of your City and ask them for vaccination, they will give you two drops of polio, ask you to fill a form, then they will stamp this form with the Government seal to make it official.

Don't forget to take two to three copies of your passport along with you.

You may get Vaccination from the Airport too, but due to huge demand you may end up waiting many hours to get vaccinated.

For your convenience,
Town Health Office Karachi is located near Rangers Headquarters (few minutes drive from Jinnah Hospital)

P.S: Polio vaccination is free, Do not pay a penny..they would never ask for any money until you urge them to do so.

Alhamdullilah my wife received her passport back today. The process is finally over, just an FYI the tcs courier charged PKR 500 for return delivery. And for original documents return I need to e-mail London office and Mississauga as told by the CIC call centre.

I wish you all the best of luck and may Allah reunite everyone with there spouses quickly.

Hi All,

I am hoping if anyone who had a similar situation as mine would comment/share opinions. Basically we got additional document (pcc, schedule a, csq) request on May 12th 2014 and the package we sent was received by CHC-London on May 30th 2014 at reception by RASHEED (as per FedEx delivery of proof). Now unfortunately I have been told that the documents have not been recieved by CHC-London office (GCMS notes/MP). Getting all original police certificates again would take 2-3 months which doesnt make sense to me at all. Has anyone else had this issue? Has anyone else sent his documents and were received by "RASHEED"? Please reply if you have been in a similar situation.

Thanks,

There are two ways going about this situation at hand.

1) Show proof to CHC-London that you have sent the pcc's by providing scanned copies of fedex confirmations and signature of "Rasheed" at the appropriate time. Thereby, CHC-London can attempt to track down your documents.

2) If they don't find it, then unfortunately, your gonna have to send it again (sad indeed). It's hard to sue Immigration Canada for negligence.

I am MI-2 applicant and my case is in process with date for 3 months. No medicals yet. I ordered my GCMS notes recently. I got 68 points and visa officer was satisfied but in there I also saw visa officer wrote "email verification sent to Pakistan"

What kind of verification CHC London does and how long it can take?

Thanks

hope_life:
general verification implies, telephone checks, site visits or any other means.

my understanding;
local staff from pak will do the verification; may be telephonic, physical(less possibility but u never know).

i wud suggest u share the entire gcms; the major thing which needs to be discussed
is concern of visa officer(why he he/she needs verifcation).

plz correct me, if I am wrong.
thx.

thanx hope for ur concerns about my case.

my eligibility is in progress but he has given me 68 points. i don't know if selection decision has been taken or not. he also wrote no obvious concerns with education, employment and adaptability...if he is satisfied with employment, education wat kind of verification he is doing? he wrote meds not issued for this file will await verification results.. so far my employer has not been contacted yet. i don't know wat kind of verification it is. is it employment verification do u think? i also didn't send original transcripts in sealed envelope just veified/notarised/hec attesed in university sealed envelope?/ wats ur take. my case is in process since january 2012. verification email sent to pakistan on 24/2/12.)
