CHC, Islamabad Spouse Sponsorship Timeline 2012 -2013

Unfortunately, the CHC section where immigration for spousal takes place in out of bounds. You are only allowed in if you have a scheduled interview. If your lucky, they may answer your question, but making you stand in the sun in front of the gate for approx 60 mins. Whereby, the gate-keeper will come out and say your file is still in process and there is no correspondence or information needed from you. Then he will ask you to leave and no more questions asked.

If you want to hand over extra documents, the best option is via TCS and get it signed from the recipient. This way, you have proof of sending the documents and proof that they have been received.

My mother (sponsor) is here in Pakistan days. Can she go to the CHC Islamabad to ask the status of our applications because CHC is really doing injustice. They asked for FBI Clearance Report of my Dad which we have sent them twice but they says that they've never received those reports. We inquired through MP and he said that you've not sent the FBI Report + background checks is going on for the dependent children. We didn't hear anything from CHC-Isb after January 2014. My mother is Permanent Resident so can she go to CHC-Isbd and handover the copies of those FBI reports to them?ome days

Can any member advise about the polio vaccination. how many days does the applicant has to get it before their arrival to Canada? And also is that the only vaccination mandatory?

You just need to get it done before leaving Pakistan , they will give you a certificate valid for a year. It's imposed on everyone who is travelling from pakistan , destination does not matter.

My MP said that they were doing a background check but when i emailed LVO they said that my file has not been checked by anyone yet.

Any one who had re medical in April 2014 got PPR yet?? I am still waiting for my wife PPR. I ordered notes and they got the medical but nothing mentioned for additional docs i sent in April. What should i do? I contacted MP and she said they are doing background check but she asked for DHL tracking number for documents and still waiting for her reply.

hsve you sent the additional documents voluntary?? what you have sent in your documents??
i have also submitted my additional document along with my remed in june...and now waiting for their response.

MP just tell you with their guesses and experience.they dont even know what is happening with our files... just pray that you get the LVO correspondence.

When I filled my case I told them my rusksati was planned after 8 months. after 1 year they ask me for additional pics and proof to show ruksati done. Usually the case processing start few months after the file is transferred. Better to tell them why you did ruksati only.

As most of you may or may not know mine is a Nikah only case.

If i want to send LVO an additional letter from my spouse indicating why we didn't have rukhsuti done, would that be a good idea even tho my application has already been submitted?

Also my first question still remains unanswered... when do they update the online status! ??? ???

Thanks, yes i told them that in the beginning. When you sent your initial application, did you provide a lot of proof of relationship?
