Any news about , 2013 applicant. ???

hey guys, i was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction about the process needed for my wife when she flies into canada. what procedure to follow? where to declare "goods to follow" so as a new immigrant she can bring more stuff in via ship e.g., furniture. New immigrants can bring a lot of stuff but i just can't find the info on google. Any help is appreciated.

No news yet :( what is your timeline btw

Can someone tell me the process of getting an MP involved in the case. Do you just go and ask them to write a letter ? Anyone on this forum from Edmonton that has contacted an MP? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Aap ko meri aik hee advise hai, sabr! I understand you are frustrated, so are we. You have to understand there are a lot of members from 2011, 2012 and one member from 2010 who are still waiting! So please be patient, you just applied a year and 1 month ago and we have been waiting for almost 2 + years.. My husband got his remedical after 6 months of the original medical being expired.

I just applied a year before but for your information there are two members here which applied in Aug 2013 and so far they got ppr1, So its mean there is no Que system in this criteria.

2nd...You applied for you husband so for male applicants from Pakistan its normal timeline which you are having. My case is different than yours as i have applied for my wife. Yours and mine are two different things.

Wish you a very Good Luck

1) exactly, there is no queue in this process. Though that doesn't mean since 2 or so members in your timeline have recieved ppr that automatically means that every aug 2013 member shall recieve ppr. Like you said there is no queue. Its luck/destiny or whatever else you want to call it.

2) Timeline does not go by "sex" of applicant. There isn't written anywhere on cic website that male applicants will take longer than female applicants. I have a few friends whose husbands reached canada before many wife cases (Mine wife case included). Every case is different, because every case has a different visa officer. Visa officer decide the length of your case. Not being male or female (its just a myth that husband cases take longer)
