Assalam walaikum!

Can someone please tell me how long after the passport is sent that we will receive it back.
Also is it normal that when i log in the cic website it still says that our file is in process.

We have received an email on the 11th june saying that they were ready to issue visa and to please send in the passport as well of 2 pictures for the PR card. We have submitted the passport as well of the 2 pictures on the 16th and they received it on the 17th.

Please someone confirm the time frame as well if its normal that the status of our file still did not change.

There is no set time for passport return...some people get it back in 2 weeks, some people have to wait longer (like my wife who's been waiting 7 weeks for her passport to be returned)...i've been told on average though it's about 4-6 weeks

i have sent my passport to CHC islamabad three weeks ago

and still my Ecase shows "in process"

is this normal or what.. should i be worried..?

My spouse said june 27. She sent it today. Ecas just got updated to DM. Yesterday it was in process.

Maybe 2 weeks or earlier.

Congragulations! Her passport will be returned soon

June 30th.

Decision made:

July 1st.

Was very surprised at the speed.

typcially yes that's the case...however i've seen some people get their passport back without their ecase changing to "decision made" too...so in the end it all depends on the visa officer's mood i guess

Aap ko meri aik hee advise hai, sabr! I understand you are frustrated, so are we. You have to understand there are a lot of members from 2011, 2012 and one member from 2010 who are still waiting! So please be patient, you just applied a year and 1 month ago and we have been waiting for almost 2 + years.. My husband got his remedical after 6 months of the original medical being expired.

My husband sent his in 16th june and it was receive and signed by Ahmed on the 17th.

Im checking his case status on CIC everyday and its still showing in process.

Im kind of worried, should i contact MP office?

Don't worry. Ecas is not reliable. Some VO update ecas others don't.

LVO recommends 4 weeks prior to sending an enquiry.
