yeah it was a long wait almost 2.5 years from the application date. inshaaAllah everyone will get their med and passport request soon...

My husband is pplanning to move to Dubai until he gets his ppr for cCanada and his first medical is expired today on 10 June ....... The question is that should he do his re.medical in advance or should he wait for visa office to ask for the medical.

The case should be moved officially by Embassy to Dubai. when the medical is expired. so the embassy will request the medical, he should not do it by his self. in procedure it's like this.

I think he should wait for Cic for remedical. Did you guys update Cic that he is moving or moved?

But moving case from one embassy to other can slow the process, isn't it? I mean I asked this question to Cic agent and she said the case will start from the scratch. I would like more info on this

He can move to anywhere in the world the case will still be with Islamabad embassy because he is Pakistani. No two ways about this.

This is not a problem, he can move to Dubai, and notify the Visa office about his move/address, etc whenever he has settled in.
Once there for 6+ months, a police certificate from Dubai may be needed, in case the file is not finalized before then.
He can move, settle, work, etc once he has his address/residency info, update the Visa office.

These days files are only transferred for program integrity reasons. I think file will remain in Islamabad or London, whoever is working on it.
