bro Its not about the situation ... its about the reaction.... everyone here is in the same situation in fact there are hundreds of applicants who applied before you and still waiting n living apart from their spouses.. so you need to cool down your emotions and save them for the life ahead

Hope everything works out for you for good! Don't let it get on to you. Everything happens for a reason. I'm sure there is some good in this bad situation too. And there is always hope. Good things will certainly come on the right time. And you will forget all the pain n problems that you are undergoing right now.

I just found out on Thursday my MP lied to me big time. He called me Feb 14/14 to say he had meeting with MP Chris Alexander and I asked for a paper copy or email and I was told he could not do that. Caught in a Red Lie. I would love to wring his neck

Why don't write a letter email to Stephen Harper directly ?

Wifenumber1 please stop saying nonsense stuff here. First start to learn a little and understand what timeline means.

Timeline got nothing to do with origin or nationality but the number of files that VO has treated in a given time period. SO no matter from where the files come from, Once a VO is allotted with that file it is their timeline that is affected because it is them who are working on it and will give the visa.

Also TO EVERYONE Please Stop saying the timeline of this is X month so for us it is X months, that is not how timeline work. You guys are confusing Timeline with Deadline which are completely different things. Reading the Forum I got the impression everyone is taking Timeline as Deadline.

Timeline = Historical statistic data of passed number of files a VO has treated in X number of month (80% of cases), just an indication
Deadline = We will treat you file in X number of months

So Timeline evolve today it is 11 months in 2 months they get a lot of load or other things to prevent them to work it can go to 13 months.

RIGHT NOW the actual timeline seem to be 1 to 4 months for Pakistanis, You will say What the hell ? why I am saying that ? Did I lost my mind ? NO NOT REALLY

It is simple math = London got files in February 2014 and they have already started giving visa and Remedical etc. so logically speaking we Suddenly got the Best timeline (virtually and temporarily) as they count only the time from the moment the VO get our files.

So please don't confuse Timeline with Deadline
And don't confuse Timeline of a VO with Nationality of someone.

If you still don't understand, go download the real Data file from Data website and You will understand what I mean

Makes sense! Insha'Allah they will continue to be efficient and process the applications in a timely manner without any annoying delays!!

I have witnessed something similar, me & my friend filed our applications 5 months apart in 2012. He inquired about his file from a MP and was told he will get the information and respond soon. Couple of months down the road he got a call from the MP informing him that his file is still in review and can take a year.
The funny part of the story: When he got the call from his MP his wife was sitting next to him in Canada.
Moral of the story: No point in contacting a MP as I am sure these guys get 100 of such requests daily and are sick and tired of dealing with immigration issues.

I am assuming someone would say "they are to serve the public etc", well you are not that naive ;)

lol that is just too funny, did your friend tell the MP that he has been caught in a lie!!
