can the renewal of a pr card cause any delay/hindrance in my immigration ki file? cause the cards been in process for quite some months now so was just wondering if they'll hold my file till they give my husband his card
Both are unrelated therefore your file shouldn't be effected. Its interesting that the PR renewal time has gone up so much lately.Faso said:can the renewal of a pr card cause any delay/hindrance in my immigration ki file? cause the cards been in process for quite some months now so was just wondering if they'll hold my file till they give my husband his card
It must be registered with Union Council or they can accuse you of Miss Representation and not allowed to reapply until 2 years so be sure its registered In Sha Allahfizz1234 said:^^
They are accepting nikah cases and will continue do so as all you need is nikah nama for your marriage to be legal. They can't refuse something that is legal.
Interview is to access the genuineness of the marriage not it's legitimacy. You guys should be fine, Goodluck.
It's sad and frustrating we have been made to believe that rukhsati instead of nikah is real proof of marriage, thus outsiders judge the same way. And the families aren't cooperative enough to let the wife stay at husband's place after just nikah or girl's parents agreeing to keep the girl with them during the whole process.
Thats not true cuz 11 months is for London residence , not for Pakistani, they are only helping Islamabad. what proof you have when you say that, don't miss represent.Kiinngg Farakh Gujjar said:Family Sponsorship application from residents of Pakistan are now being processed by the visa office in London, United Kingdom. Wifenumber1 please stop saying nonsense stuff here. First start to learn a little and understand what timeline means.Wifenumber1 said:Thats not true cuz 11 months is for London residence , not for Pakistani, they are only helping Islamabad. what proof you have when you say that, don't miss represent.

Timeline got nothing to do with origin or nationality but the number of files that VO has treated in a given time period. SO no matter from where the files come from, Once a VO is allotted with that file it is their timeline that is affected because it is them who are working on it and will give the visa.
Also TO EVERYONE Please Stop saying the timeline of this is X month so for us it is X months, that is not how timeline work. You guys are confusing Timeline with Deadline which are completely different things. Reading the Forum I got the impression everyone is taking Timeline as Deadline.
Timeline = Historical statistic data of passed number of files a VO has treated in X number of month (80% of cases), just an indication
Deadline = We will treat you file in X number of months
So Timeline evolve today it is 11 months in 2 months they get a lot of load or other things to prevent them to work it can go to 13 months.
RIGHT NOW the actual timeline seem to be 1 to 4 months for Pakistanis, You will say What the hell ? why I am saying that ? Did I lost my mind ? NO NOT REALLY
It is simple math = London got files in February 2014 and they have already started giving visa and Remedical etc. so logically speaking we Suddenly got the Best timeline (virtually and temporarily) as they count only the time from the moment the VO get our files.
So please don't confuse Timeline with Deadline
And don't confuse Timeline of a VO with Nationality of someone.
If you still don't understand, go download the real Data file from Data website and You will understand what I mean
I have witnessed something similar, me & my friend filed our applications 5 months apart in 2012. He inquired about his file from a MP and was told he will get the information and respond soon. Couple of months down the road he got a call from the MP informing him that his file is still in review and can take a year.micmac101 said:I just found out on Thursday my MP lied to me big time. He called me Feb 14/14 to say he had meeting with MP Chris Alexander and I asked for a paper copy or email and I was told he could not do that. Caught in a Red Lie. I would love to wring his neck
LOL helping Islamabad? pardesfir replied to you. all i wanna say is go online cic.gc.ca and check that spousal cases are being processed in London for Pakistanis ..Wifenumber1 said:Thats not true cuz 11 months is for London residence , not for Pakistani, they are only helping Islamabad. what proof you have when you say that, don't miss represent.
MP's office sends email to London/Islamabad.fizz1234 said:I have witnessed something similar, me & my friend filed our applications 5 months apart in 2012. The funny part of the story: When he got the call from his MP his wife was sitting next to him in Canada.
Moral of the story: No point in contacting a MP as I am sure these guys get 100 of such requests daily and are sick and tired of dealing with immigration issues.
I am assuming someone would say "they are to serve the public etc", well you are not that naive

Person who receive that email check status of that case in system.
What status he finds in system write back to MP.
MP reads same email back to applicant on phone or write on email.
So, MP does not care what response he gets from embassy he just pass on......that is funny part.
Some time it interpret the response on the basis of date of application receipt and current timeline of that embassy....that is worse funny part.
so, MP relay on systems reply........which is not reliable most of the time.
Because it do not see what visa officer is doing on that case.
Also does E-CASE help anyone correctly during whole processing........so.......same system.
