I would guess from Canada, cause my brother had applied in Jan 2013 and got these back sometimes last year from Canada. (not sure if it's Ottawa or Mississauga)

That's because back then all applications were being held in Ottawa at the Pilot Processing Centre.... even though they sent us emails that the files were sent to Islamabad.... I'm also curious to know where they received back their originals from.... cuz that would indicate where the physical file is sitting... whether its in London or Islamabad or still in ottawa

I received my original documents back on 1st March 2014... From Ottawa

No, Ottawa VO contacted my husband(sponsor) by email and asked him to confirm mailing address so that they could return original documents!! And they returned them within a week

And I believe that they turned them before transferring my file to London
