I send London office an email regarding my file and they replied me that my file has been moved to London office, the generic reply which they send to every body that to improve efficiency etc.
I send them an email and got reply in an hour. Before that, I filled the online form twice to know about the location of my file and they didn't reply. I suggest to ask them through the direct email address of London office instead of online form.

I guess its the same thing, thank God you got the reply as you and me have the same timeline

I really hope this transfer decreases the timeline and processes applications of all of us quickly!! The waiting game is so frustrating specially when they make it complicated and confusing by moving our files all around the globe!! Dunno what to expect and what to do! Even the USA embassy is far more organized than Canadian!!And even the processing isn't so complicated! Ppl I know are going there on fiancé visas and Canadians have no such thing at all!! They don't even give us visas so that we can go there and spend some time with our spouses. My husband can't come very often cos of his job! This entire process is so inhumane!!
Anyways we must hope for the best (quick processing) and prepare for the worst (32 months timeline)!!

oh naaaaaaaa.... its doesn't effect your processing time anyway... in fact it makes then realize that we have concerns regarding our case.. ya one thing can make it slower if you send them same proves or additional docs in multiple means...!

What do you mean by multiple means? As in emailing them and also courier??
What's the best n effective way of sending additional proofs?? Thankyou in advance.

Your assumption was wrong. Even june/july 2013 files have transferred to London.

ya exactly.... Well email is more secure and less time consuming ... Effectiveness remains the same in both ways... I would prefer email if you can manage that .... Chc officials also recommend that... Coz they need docs in soft copies.

well you can judge their performance by their Processing time... But the future is unseen we can just predict on past trends which looks satisfactory to me at least... Thank God get rid of Islamabad.. 2 rakat nafal perhny chaiyay ab to.

Western Union is the most convenient way to send money back n forth since they have plenty of locations in Pak in most all major cities. All u need is to give them the name of the person ur sending it to n that person's phone number. If ur sending money to Canada I would still recommend Western Union as its a well known name with a great reputation. When it comes to ur hard earned money u really don't wanna take any chances. It may b more expensive than others but its reliable n ur money reaches Canada in a matter of minutes. I know ppl who've had bad experiences with these "no-name" money exchangers.

western union is best way to send money to Canada..mostly bank only do receiving of money through western union if u want to send there r only few or u can go direct shop of western union.,,i dont know which area u belong to but there is one in Clifton near teen talwar right next to selani welfare

I don't get it yet, why we start following others Good or bed practice wit out considering our case

first every one starts sending additional proof ( nothing happen except 4 or 5 cases)

2nd every one start ordering GMC notes

kept requesting MP to check the file status

start guessing embassy movement

now every sending email to London office for confirmation of file location although it is written on website

some people look so depressed , waiting after taking some initiative looked annoyed !!!!!!!!!


Common Guys !!!!!! do you really think to give unnecessary workload will faster your case ??????????????
