This wz on my notes aswell

Okay I did some research into this and from my understanding where missing the dates on the back of the photos... I'm almost certain that we wrote the dates it may be that CIC o CHC did'nt scan the back of the pictures.

If I'm incorrect anyone please advise.

Question: I'm sending additional documents voluntarily should I again submit pics with the biodata?

Your help would be greatly appreciated :)

Aoa,what do you think and what opinion of lawyers about this? how long A permanent resident can live outside Canada during process of spouse sponsorship?did anyone ever ask their lawyer?

I never asked a lawyer and I've been in PK on and off for almost 3 years now (3 year wedding anniversay in June). I stayed in PK 19 months last time went back to Canada for 6 months had baby came back and have been here 16 months and am going back to Canada next week for good. I have'nt been questioned by customs and have been using the same passport for the past almost 4 years.

I don't believe it's a concern and it definitly is not a negative impact to our files if anything I think it's a positive because this way officers now that it's genuine. If officers are expecting us to get married and be away from our spouses the duration of the process than what's the point of getting married and going through this stressful situation.

Depending visa officer. He can asks for re-pcc and pcc for any place where you lived for more than six months. For example if you lived in Karachi for more than 6 months (for whatever reason) and moved to Lahore. You would normally have to send a police report for Karachi and Lahore.

Asslamu Alaykum forum family,

Okay so another concern that has come up in this insane process that immigration has laid out for us.

Husband went to Karachi to get pcc and they are stating they need a whole bunch of forms, letters etc... because husband left Karachi almost 9 years ago.

So what to do in this situation? I know as per hubby chubby it depends on officer. Another option is to make dua that I get a good officer In Sha Allah

Please help

I and my husband keep fighting all the time because of this wait. It has reached to a point where we want to just not talk to each other.

Sister, try to understand that this isn't his fault...just think about the good times ahead of you..I am sure you don't want all these arguments and fights leave a bad taste or scar precious relationship memories. Wishing everyone's relationship to stand strong against this hard time. Ameen

Walaikum aslam Nick_afg,

No pcc request my husband had to go to Karachi for something else so decided to get pcc so that he dosen't have to take time off work again. It's a fair distance from Lahore to Karachi by train. Jazak Allah for your wishes bro :)

Its an grey area. A citizen obviously can live outside Canada for as much as they like. However, even then you are susceptible to question. That is why some citizen who lived out for too long get asked to fill a residency questionnaire (RQ). Canada government doesn't want to pay for you if you are not paying them (tax). PR is worst, even to get a citizenship you have to wait approx 1095 days to apply. On top of that you sit in Pakistan (for example) for a year of a time they wont be too happy. Your allow to visit, recommended 3 months.
Hmm may be I was lucky that they didn't ask me for anything because I stayed in Pakistan for more then 3 months. I stayed there for 9 months after wedding and visited twice for 6 and 4 months. I am a citizen. Hope this helps.

The new citizenship law would cover up all these Grey areas...you would now be required to stay in Canada for certain days every year.

We have a daughter together and of course we had our beautiful moments together!!! Immigration is not a priority!!! Please please make ur lives and your relationship your first priority!!!

My husband pays tax on time!! Though he got his PR card renew last month without any problem Alhumdulilah!!!

No freaking husband and wife live away from each other for years!!

I second that. I have read many people advising to visit twice a year etc etc to meet your spouses. First, it is not possible for everyone financially, even the cheapest round trip would involve amounts upto 2000 CAD just on airfare. While it may not be a problem for some sisters who are not working to visit their spouses in Pakistan or for brothers who are not dependent on employment to visit and stay with their wives but it is definitely a problem for people who are working as an employee.

and the frustrating thing is the NO WAY OUT criteria that CIC uses

-No significant visits by sponsor...>red flag on genuineness...> but reject TRVs as applicant has strong ties in Canada...how ridiculous, conflicting and BS
-Long stay with spouse in Pakistan...>red flag on intentions to return....> ignoring the genuineness factor altogether
