i was reading this thread, saw many cases delayed for more than 2 years or 3 years, its drastic situation

but now its confusing by seeing the time line of spousal sponsorship visa. can u guide me whaat to do?

1- do same like u ppl are doing go for marriage and apply for sponsorship for wife?
2- Go to Pak and marry there but try for student visa for spouse and when she arrive here then marry here according to Canadian rules and then apply for her sponsorship INLAND?
3- Go to Pak, marry there and then she come here on Visit visa and then marry here again?

Asslamu Alaykum 2calgary,

I agree with the other members choose option 4 unless your willing to get married and wait it out 3-4 years

I also discouraged my brother better to find someone in Canada only because of the wait times they are ridiculous as you can see from our many posts

ASyed :)

disagree this way you are helping them achive there goal( if it is there goal to discourge pakistanis)

and secondly this will take us to the end of our culture, Values , Norms

so dont be a quiter instad take steps all of us are thinking of contacting media

additionally you never know this timline might drop dastically as they are takeing steps( sending files to dehli, london)

so dont discourage others

just my openion

First of all,you should marry someone who will make you happy and vice versa..choosing your spouse should be based on logical reasons because you have to live with him/her for the rest of ur life..if that someone is in Pakistan and u think shes the one for u,then man up and go for it...go for the first option because it is the safest even if it is taking time..u can apply for visit visa or visit pak yearly...also,marriage isnt a piece of cake so if people r recommending u to not marry in pak due to processing times, then i wondet how they r going to deal with the upcoming usual life problems..best of luck

So files from 2012 are randomly being sent to London? But what about people from 2011...any files from this timeline also forwarded to London?

No. None that i've seen or heard off.
