The thing about options 2 and 3 are you already married her in pak. When you attempt to marry her in canada and they do her routine applicant checks back to the motherland they will eventually know you and her were already married. That will put your consent of "all information is true" false. Which means they can right off reject you for providing false info. Options 2 and 3 can only be considered if she gets accepted to canada on her own (unmarried). Its a risk.

hello friends,
i was reading this thread, saw many cases delayed for more than 2 years or 3 years, its drastic situation

i need guidance, i am planning to go back to Pak for marriage and then will go for sponsorship of wife.
but now its confusing by seeing the time line of spousal sponsorship visa. can u guide me whaat to do?

1- do same like u ppl are doing go for marriage and apply for sponsorship for wife?
2- Go to Pak and marry there but try for student visa for spouse and when she arrive here then marry here according to Canadian rules and then apply for her sponsorship INLAND?
3- Go to Pak, marry there and then she come here on Visit visa and then marry here again?

4- DONT MARRY................ :(

If you do decide to marry someone from Pakistan then you'll have to plan out everything from get go because its not going to be easy to wait for 3-4 years. Also be honest with the girl's family and her too so that she can be mentally prepared to wait for however long it takes. A full marriage case is better than nikah but then you should be ready to make plans for visiting once or twice a year whatever you can manage for her sake as well as yours.

if the goal was to discourage first cousin marraiges then they could have done it through legislation instead of this back handed way. if the goal was to discourage khassi mullah types, abaya chicks..gibberish sprouting religious freaks..then it gets complicated...it takes time to weed out the wheat from the chaff...

disagree this way you are helping them achive there goal( if it is there goal to discourge pakistanis)

and secondly this will take us to the end of our culture, Values , Norms

so dont be a quiter instad take steps all of us are thinking of contacting media

additionally you never know this timline might drop dastically as they are takeing steps( sending files to dehli, london)

so dont discourage others
