I do understand why you would disagree. You would think then what is the point of sending files over if they are going to follow isb anyways. If i was in your situation right now i would think the same. Actually, i was in your situation 2 years back when they sent it to ottawa. Thought the same, hoped they would process faster or maybe follow ottawa timeline. I was wrong. On the flip side, hopefully ottawa doesnt happen in london. But don't make any conclusion. Like i always say for chc Islamabad applicants "hope for the best, expect the worst" Good luck to you buddy..

agree with hubby same thing wit me at first they sent my case to Ottawa and the call center guy told me hoo wow lalalala ur so lucky this and that ur case is processing in Ottawa I was happy but they kept my file in Ottawa for 9month not even touch my file and than they sent it to chc after 9 monts and now its been more than a year nothing yet uffffffffffffffffffffff Alha they r wasting our life's best times it is just B Shit sorry guys about my language

hi guys, if you applied for a TRV and got refused and are then asked to send updated forms- do you tell them that TRV was rejected?

Haven't been in this situation personally, but I would think you will tell them, since it will not harm the case and they can retrieve this information anyway from their system that you applied for TRV and were rejected.

Ok here is a quote from the letter sent by the embassy. Hope it answers the question:

"The Application for Permanent Residence for your relative(s) has been forwarded to this office as part of an effort to improve service. All efforts will be made to process applications equitably, but it may be several months before your application is reviewed for further processing. Your family member(s) will be contacted by the visa office when the application is ready for processing."

i have a couple of questions:

what is WVR group?

i ordered notes this month nd i got to know that CHC-I never received the results of my remed which i took in september 2013, what should i do now?

oh nd i just received the photos from an update that i sent in june 2013

Go back to the DMP and ask about the medicals you did.......ask them why the embassy did not receive results ?
If you have the forms, do another one immediately and send receipt to the visa office.......

I suggest you do this as soon as possible......

I need help....
I found,out YDAY thru my mp tht isb sent my wife (applicant )an email in mid jan to send thm pcc and add forms but we never got any email frm.isb... Not in spam or ne other folder... Wat shud i do now ? mp has asked isb to resend the add doc request to us but wat else shud I do now ?? I haven't gotten any email as of yet from chc .. its really worrying for us as we don't know which forms and docs they are asking otherwise we would've just preparerd it and send it to chc..

I know you must have already checked, but GMail did report a bug where emails were accidentally deleted between Jan 15-22, so check your trash as well

please write your time line .My file is transfer to Islamabad on Nov.2013 and then my family submitt her file+ (some doc) on 1 week of Dec.2013 but we are still waiting AOR from Islamabad .Now a days i read in this forum that many cases of Pakistani have transfer to London or India but when i have receive latter of PR elligibilityfrom CIC then menshion in it that your file is transfer to Islamabad.did my file will also transfer to India or london? if anybody has same time line then plz share your time line. If any senior have experience then plz comment.

DMP = designated doctor for medical exam, as per CIC panel.......

Why would you send a receipt to CHC when they did not receive the reports?
Have you contacted the place where u did the medical to ask why results are not received by the embassy ?

Are you sure medical results were not sent to embassy by the doctor???

Had a interesting talk with an MP regarding our cases in Islamabad.

My uncle advised me to go see this new mp that has recently came in office in the greater Montreal area. I really wasn't to excited to talk to another MP because I know it's just sympathy and generic answers. But, i thought this guy is new so maybe he will be more motivated on his new job so i decided to try him out. I called the number and Secretary picked up left my name and number and this guy called me back after few hours. I told my story (the regular Islamabad blah blah). He told me that he will check about my file and call me back. After 5 mins he calls me back (mind you previous MP would call back in 2-3 days). Well, he told me file looks good, everything is almost complete just background checks. (I was like Damn! do these guys call the FBI/CIA/ISI or something how long does it take). I knew this guy or any other mp can't do jack for us. So i told him thanks for your help (he realized i gave up on him). But then he told me somethings that were honest and weren't bullshit (like the things you read/hear form cic agents/older mp's/generic email responses for embassy/ or letters you get at home).

He said as a mp, we don't call directly an Islamabad official to get whereabouts of your file. We have just have someone who has access to immigration database and he tells us (and he doesn't know much). Basically, if your mp calls you after few days its not that he is searching rather just acting.

He did say that our email inquiries are considered more "worthy" than if you email them. Which i can confirm because mp inquires come out written in gmcs notes.

He added that it terrible that we have to wait 32 months (regardless what month the timeline was when you applied) everyone comes under 32 now and if tomorrow it goes up to 40 (I hope not) then we all will be at 40. It doesn't matter and frankly they (chc agents) don't care.

He advised every "pakistani" to apply for trv (visit visa) to reduce the pain of living alone for close to 3 years. I agree, if it works out (good on ya) if it doesn't (we were stuck anyways).

Finally, he said they (mp's) recently asked the new immigration minister Chris Alexander regarding what is going on in Islamabad and it's ridiculous timeline to what his answer was....nothing he had no answer (Chris Alexander that is)

In the end he said he was "sorry" (the sympathy) and call back in 3 months (no thank you i won't be calling back).

There it is, the bitter truth of Islamabad.
