Hello guys Salam. I am very worried now about my spousal immigration. I am Canadian citizen and my wife is living in Karachi, Pakistan. I applied for spousal immigration from Mississauga, Canada on 15 December 2013. I received the acknowledgement of my application on 22 January 2014. But today 28 January 2014, I received an email from CIC that my file is forwarded to to the high commission of Canada in London, United kingdom. I just do not understand why. It says my visa office was selected based on relative's home address. But i am 100% sure i did not put any address close to even UK or anywhere. My wife address is in Karachi. Why did this happen and how long will it take to fix it. 2 yrs wait was long enough now this? Do you guyz have any solution to this. Please help me . May Allah help you all in your applications. Amen

Same here, today got an email that the application is forwarded to London. I got the same email. It's my brother's application sponsoring his wife.

I mean u have to be ready bro once they ask u for pp if ur pp is expairing they ll send it back to u and I am sure u don't want it delay so it is good to have ur pp ready and extanded just in case bro for peace of mind .

Hi, I also got letter yesterday, that file is transferred to London. I asked to the immigration officer if the it will take 32 months or 10? He said it's a good sign and it will take less time than 32 months but NOT 10 . Let's hope for the best. In Sha Allah.

In Jan 2013 I sent pictures/ phone records/ boarding passes from my trip to Pak in Sept 2012/ western union receipts all in a nice package... I sent it all to Islamabad but wut i didn't know then was that my application hadn't even reached islamabad yet n had been sitting in Ottawa.... just a couple weeks ago my wife received back all originals from that package.... which leads me to believe that they only put that package together with the rest of my application a complete 1 year after i submitted it..... so in conclusion there's really no point to sending updates to these guys unless they request it

Well I heard in about 5 months after updating them!

But you have to be in Canada to use this service. If your file is still in Canada they can inform you of additional information.

salaam alicom he got ppr on 18 jan when he called me I was work and I felt so happy for him i was very surprised coz he never try to sent any inquiries or anythinning he was so calm he was so happy I wish this day for everyone in our situation , cic isb inform booth husband and wife they sent the physical letter by post to his wife in Peshawar pk and he also got email from isb on 18 jan I wish u guys all the best guys
