Excellent observation. This thread is full of useless posts such that contain nothing but inshallah mashallah jazakallah subhanallah alhamdullah and i will make dua etc etc. After so many posts you find any post that actually contains any information. I agree everyone have freedom to talk what they like but this is not a religious forum. People should exchange information and stick to the topic rather than trying to show off how religious they are. If they were immigrating to Saudi Arabia then maybe it made some sense.

No, you didn't extract correctly. What I mean is that religion is your personal affair and most probably other person is not interested in all that religious stuff because it's an immigration discussion board. Even Jesus and marry won't fit here. You can be as religious as you like and still be in Canada. You don't have to leave your religion or copy them.

When you submitted additonal documents oct 6 2013 was this voluntarily or was this a request from ISB... I was'nt sure what you meant. Because I was wondering I have'nt received a remed and applied Sept 2012 and maybe I should submit additional documents voluntarily. I have requested notes this week so waiting to go over those before I finalize my decision. In Sha Allah we all get through this process asap.

i received a letter on 23 September 2013 for additional documents submission which i sent on 6 Oct 2013 complete package,pics,air tickets, whats app chat history, skype, phone bills , pics, son birth certificate, B form and etc.

in response they sent me back pics, 2 days before.

as per observation , those who sent additional documents voluntary , receive, PPR or remedial. unlike me who keep waiting for the request & send as requested. Mudasir is a good example.

if u want to send , so you should send it will minimize your time duration.

It looks like the surge in PPR was to acheive the target set by CHC. I am just hoping that they dont sit on their butts until another year end to send out PPRs.

Theoretically speaking, they should process files faster this year since the elections are next year and if they want a vote from the South Asian community they need to get on their game.

The minister has promised lower wait times, so let's see.

They are heavily promoting Super Visa for parents/grand parents since that generates revenue (med insurance, etc.) and no obligation for the government, on other hand spousal is just a burden on them (health care, etc.).

Dont forget not all spouses are burden on the system. They also become part of economy (rat race if you ask me) and pay taxes. If spouses are not earning then their spouses pay taxes anyway.

Also note that they are also accepting Parent's sponsorship again.

I didn't know they are accepting parental sponsorship again. As for the spouses, it's a general statement compared to skilled class and super visa, spousal probably falls below the two in terms of benefiting the government.

Agreed, it is a rat race... it's funny US spousal is so much faster than Canada (considering all the security restrictions in US).

My timeline is from JUNE 2012.....husband had to redo his medical and police in Oct 2013....islamabad has confirmed that they got it. But I have not gotten any information since

I have a question for everybody. I wanna figure out if visiting wife/husband really expedites the case.
so anybody here who did went back home and their case is still taking long and anybody here who didn't go back home but the case was done relatively quick, please reply.

anyone knows when the last audit of the CHC-Islamabad was done by CIC's departmental audit branch.

I think CIC needs to do another AUDIT of this mission to see why it is so inefficient and slow.
