That's a good idea. Like waiting said, I don't know if adding the initial 5 days will impact in any negative way. I think their main purpose of questioning is the fact they want to know if the marriage has been consummated and if you haven't lived together, in their eyes the Rukshati hasn't occurred.

Can someone confirm what documents are required for a PR traveling from Canada to Pakistan?

is NICOP mandatory? or Pakistani passport and PR card is enough.. please confirm....

(Actually NICOP is expired and renewal is in process... so not sure if can travel or not)

Bro, if you have PR card that means you have Pakistani passport, which means you can enter Pakistan without any restrictions... NICOP is only if you have a Canadian passport and don't want to get a Pakistani Visa every time you go back. I don't even think you can get a NICOP on a Pakistani passport as they require you to confiscate all Pakistani IDs.
