that can't be right..because I received a response from mississauga in mid august as well and I got a letter on thursday requesting for re-meds..each case is different..

when you did your first medical? looks like you did not submit your first medical with your application package (just in case if you did submit then it is valid for one year and in your case your medicale is not expired how can you get a re medical?)

And 1 more thing can I stay with my husband while the case is in process for how long I want or I can live there only for few months and have to come back. I'm citizen

If you are a Canadian Citizen you can stay in Pakistan as long as you want. Get a Multiple Entry Visa and once you arrive in Pakistan you apply for a Visa Extension. You can get it for a year and sometimes more. As being a Canadian Citizen with a Multiple Entry Visa you can enter 3 times it costs $190.00 for this and you must get a letter from your husband for inviting you along with his bank account and that he agrees to support you while you are there In Sha Allah. If you need more advise feel free to ask me ok,I don't mind helping at all. I just ask you to pray for us and I pray all works out ok In Sha Allah...

My husband got his first medical done in september 2012..and we had to submit the sponsorship in march 2013 because my lawyer advised I had to have a job before applying.. So it makes sense that meds r expired

Well as for further investigation.. That will be confirmed on Wednesday..my husband and I r very confused at this point and can't wait for Wednesday to go smoothly bakhair!!

According to my lawyer..the remeds email from immigration is a very positive sign..but we'll hoe much validity that holds..just hoping for the best..sigh :

Hey no one is sure about this. My husband receives his university newsletter every few months here at his parent's house in Pakistan and that package is also forwarded from the immigration office. These TCS numbers are for all outgoings from CHC.

Salam, I don't know exactly but you can contact Immigration on that. It also depends on how long your a PR and with a valid PP... In Sha Allah

Asalaam Amlikum,

Sis on the second they only do chest x-ray and the rest they don t do and my wife had her second and only did chest x-ray only. Hope that answers your question.

You can reside with your husband up 2 years but have to return to Canada for at least 6 months their after.

I'm currently in the same position after applying for sponsorship I returned with our Canadian born daughter to PK in Dec 2012 and have been here since and will be returning to Canada again May 2014 in sha Allah with my daughter (btw I'm also Canadian born). I couldn't keep my daughter away from her father she needed to know her father from a young age.

Your lawyer was wrong about you having to work in order to apply for spousal sponsorship.

'm Canadian born and was not working when I had applied for sponsorship for my husband. This is stated on the sponsor package and
government website. You don't have to be working but you cannot be on Ontario works (welfare) and sponsor someone

It is normal. In many cases they asked for chest x-ray and further laboratory tests just to make sure the applicant doesn't have any severe disease. Hopefully your husband will be fine. No need to worry.
