That's about right. 30 to 45 days is considered normal.

i have emailed islamabad to inquire if they have attached my additional updates(which i sent last week) to my file. when do i expect them to reply? how long do they take? a month?[/color]

Asalaam Malikum Everyone,

I am waiting for my wife's passport plus visa stamped return. They recieved her passport on June 20/2013. The visa department called my wife on august and told her that they need her updated police clearence(first one expired) and my wife asked them if there is anything else that they need and they checked everything and told her there nothing else. So i sent the police clearence on October 7th 2013 and now i am still waiting for her passport with visa. Can anyone tell me when should i expect her passport and visa return.

It might be beneficial to send an inquiry through the MP to find out what's holding the case.

i did go to my MP and they still had the old update to "send in your Police Clearance".

1st of all congrats Naqibee for hearing anything about ur case.
i had same Doc request almost PCC, Schedule-A, and some other docs on 11-09-2012. Hopefully when u will send these papers ur file will b send to Visa officer for final review and Inshalah he will not put u in interview que n will send u Re med or PPR soon.

This refers to your application for permanent residence in Canada.

. You must quote the file number indicated on the top left of this letter when sending any inquiries or correspondence related to your application. Please include a copy of this letter with any documentation you submit and note that an English translation is required for all documents which are not in the English language, furthermore, English translation without copies of original documents are also not acceptable.
-Please properly and truthfully complete the IMM8, Schedule-A and IMM5406, and Supplementary Information forms. Please ensure that you do not leave any time periods unaccounted for. Pay particular attention to questions 08-12 of the Schedule-A form and provide all details since the age of 18 years. Please do not leave any question unanswered/blank. If any question is not applicable to you, quote "Not Applicable".

My wife called the islamabad IOM office number that they had sent her in the email for remedical. she got a recording to send her request via email which she has done but hasn't received n e response yet. So today she went to the office in G-6 in person and they told her again to send an email to another email address. N E body out there who's gone through this?

Hi,

My wife sent passport on November 6th. I was checking ststus online everyday. On Sunday, 24th Nov, it says "Decision Made".

I hope they processed on Friday so wonder if she will get Passport back on Monday 25th.

She lives in Karachi. Anybody in same situation???

Assalamalikum Brother:
Just call IOM and get an appointment over the phone they take sometimes a while to give you an appointment on the email. So its better to call dem at 800 pakistan time in the morning and speak to a lady name Nishad, she is very helpful.
