In sha Allah. November all people who got remed will get visa issued. In sha Allah. (Wild prediction).

Is this only a prediction or you have any evidence or insight to back this?

The other day, my husband had a dream that someone from the embassy handed him a piece of document and said, why did your application take so long? careful because these people trick you

lol, when my husband told me this I said, of course they trick everyone, proof is the processing times. Hopefully this dream turns into something good Inshallah

Why do you think you need a lawyer? I think it's a general perception out there that you definitely need a lawyer or they can expedite your case. neither of them are true.

All the information is available on CIC and the forms are straight forward to fill out.

sponsorship is when a family member "sponsors" you to become a permanent resident. The application is 2 parts. first is the evaluation of sponsor and the second is the application of PR of the applicant. The whole application is submitted together. After the sponsor is approved, the PR application part is moved to the country of residence of the applicant for further processing incase of outland application or its moved to an office in canada in case of inland sponsorship

I don't recommend taking a lawyer at all, there is so much help available otherwise. I paid $1500 to a lawyer who did absolutely NOTHING and instead told me how applying for GCMS notes is a bad idea and lots of other bull****. If even one person reads my advise I will feel like I got something out of posting my experience. It was useless paying $1500 and the only reason why I did that was cuz of my in-laws who believed it was essential to get a lawyer. For all the new applicants: Please don't waste time and money on lawyers, fill your application out yourself (which I did anyways and he just read it over), read them twice and thrice and you will be good insha Allah.

Best advice right here...
