CHC, Islamabad Spouse Sponsorship Timeline 2012 -2013

AOA, how are you guys doing? I have two questions in mind if anybody could help me out.

1. There are two kinds of fee which you have to submit at the time of applying:
I. Application Processing Fee
II. Permanent Residence Fee

If by some reason you didn't submitted Permanent Residence Fee at the time you applied and you submitted it later voluntarily without being asked by CHC Islamabad. What will be there next step? They will ask the Principal Applicant to ask the Sponsor to submit the fee in Canada and mail the receipt? or they will get the information by themselves from Canada?

2. My file was transferred to Islamabad in Sep 2012. Any idea whats coming up next and when? No correspondence yet. :

Payment of fee, at the time of submission ...pay full or half fee ,,all up to you.....if u have made half payment then u hav to wait for CHC's request about the RPRF....they will request you for the payment of balance amount along with re-medical.....

I also visited my husband over the summer and actually e-mailed some of our pictures and scans of boarding passes/passport to both Islamabad and Ottawa Pilot. Do you think I should actually mail my things as well? I sent them about 3 days ago and haven't received a confirmation e-mail...

Wsalam .. did you email Ottawa after sending your documents? if not, try emailing them first and ask about your documents if they say they haven't received them then maybe you should mail them. because from what I have read on the forum Ottawa is okay with sending additional proofs thru email. But Islamabad man, I don't think they will accept it, they don't even reply to our enquiries in a timely manner let alone print all your proofs and attach them to the file

I haven't yet, but I did get the automated response saying it might take about 2 weeks to reply. And I actually used the 'Case specific' online form (https://dmp-portal.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/case-cas-eng.aspx?mission=islamabad) to email them to Islamabad and same with them; just got the automated response. I had lots more to send, but because I had a limit on the size of attachments, I couldn't send everything. I think it would be safe to send everything to Ottawa just so they have all the proofs, right?

I would say mail EVERYTHING to Ottawa so that you can show the on going relationship/communication and they will scan everything and send it down to Islamabad. Or mail everything to Islamabad. I mailed it to Ottawa because my GCMS notes talked about how my physical file is in Ottawa so I figured it will be easy to send them all the paper work. after mailing everything off .. I emailed Ottawa and asked if they received my document. ( if you dont have the email address just ask) and after 2 days I think they replied that they got it all

Also, do you know if it makes much of a difference if I hire an immigration lawyer? noppee doesn't make a difference ..they only charge $$ss .. if you have any questions just use the forum and take help from others in your friend's circle who are going through the process. I heard lawyer's dont even want people to apply for GCMS notes lol

Yes, I'm trying to figure out the limit on attachment ... I'll play safe and assume its 10MB and send them scores of emails lol
