Many many congragulation sister. Yes sis my documents is too not signed by immigration officer. And I received two pages which is same but on one document there is my pic pasted and second page have no pic on it. But both are conformation of permanent residence letters.
There is also written on it NOT VALID FOR TRAVEL. It means its not for travel it may be signed on airport by the officer. Are u also got two documents?

COPR does not have any signatures, At the time of Landing, Immigration officer will cross your visa, take COPR with picture for their own record. Give you back the one without Picture. and you will sign in in his presence as well. He will then sign it and give it to you.

Regards,

A Humble request to everyone,
Please stop personal fights, and help each other.

I sent application, received email that your sponsorship application has been received on -----date.
received 2nd email that you have been approved as sponsor and file has been forwarded to CHC Islamabad,
My wife has not received any email yet.

What will happen next. when will she be receiving email. what is the timeline of new cases i.e. 2012, 2013, I know official Time is 31 months.
Please give me detail answer if anyone here is interested to help in this thread rather than fighting each other.

Thanks
Welcome to the thread. I will try to answer as much as I know or have experienced.
Even though approval letter for Phase 1 says the application of applicant has been forwarded to CHC-I, its not. Its sitting in Ottawa Pilot, where they will check if applicant has any history in North America (not only Canada). This is usually a check for visa/entry refusals and deportations.
They will also scan all originals and file them. Later when the process is close enough, they will return the originals.

In between 3 to 8 months the file will actually be transferred to CHC-I. Where the rest of process is completed.

Regarding timelines, some cases took 13 months and some 21. I wouldn't call it luck though. It totally depends on the person working on file and level of complexities in file. I have yet to see a case which took 31 months to process.

Thanks alot buddies,

Mine case is bit easier i suppose. because my wife & child already assessed in my previous application of Skilled immigration. I had kept them non accompanying family members due to education of my wife. So they went through medical as well. Now i landed in July and applied for sponsorship. I hope my last file record will also ease the process.

What is your opinion guys.

Dont ask me why i have not took them first with me. as time has passed.

I am not sure if that would help ease the process. But I think skilled workers applications get processed in UK and not in CHC-I.

Sorry to burst the bubble of hope.

I have strong feeling that PAFSO employees are working rotating shifts thats why stuff is getting done and sent out. Last two months, it was dead slow. Nothing more than remed, forms, or police clearance certificate requests.

I hope they keep it like this instead of complete standstill.

I am seeing a lot of mid 2012 applications getting re meds and approvals, but its strange that there is such a huge difference in timelines as there are still 2011 applicants waiting. I applied for my wife Feb 2012 and I don't even have a re med request, ordered GCMS notes twice and they're completely useless. It seems to me like they're not pulling files in order of receipt. Before someone suggests that not all files are made equal, I would like to point out that GCMS clearly shows the work they have started and it simply doesn't make sense why they would start working on newer files when older files are not even being updated and pending still. When i sent my application, it was professionally typed up in Adobe, all requested documents were stringently verified, i sent over 120 pictures of nikah, rukhsati, as well as vacation pictures after marriage. I sent hotel receipts, phone records, airfare, as well as moneygram receipts. All I am saying is my file was over and above the standard requirements and i don't even have a red med request, yet you can see that some people have gotten their approval within 14 months. Something is fishy and if someone is intentionally messing with the system, then may Allah smite them this instant. I don't post often but I just have to vent so thanks for reading.

LOL. This reminds me of my barber. He said he didn't send anything really because he isn't that knowledgeable in english or french. He just filled the forms from a friend and just signed it and sent it off. (papers even fell in the snow and got wet lol). Anyhow, i would say met the minimum requirements and wife was here in 14 months i believe (2011 case). Allah knows best.

I'm in the same boat. Totally understand your frustration. Two Feb 2012 cases were completed in 15-16 months. Some July-Aug cases were asked for re-med after 12 months only while we haven't heard even after 17 months... It just doesn't make sense. They probably don't want to increase the timeline average more and skew it by giving some early visas so that they can keep it under control. My heart goes out for the late 2011 cases who're hearing after 20 months. May Allah SWT make the process easy for us.
