Dear Brothers and Sisters I can feel all the pain all of you are having because of this strike because, I myself from the last more than 2 YEARS waiting for my wife from PK to join me here in Canada. But Still Waiting and Suffering.

I know there is not much we can do to stop this strike. But, if you guys are really missing your loved once too and want to be together A.S.A.P then I'll suggest all of the members on this forum to go and see the MP of your area in Canada.

I know MP has nothing to do directly with strike but at least He can pass our feelings and pain to this government.

I think when we hundreds of applicants will see hundreds of MPs in Canada then may be this strike could be stopped.

What do you guys think that what should we do to get together with our loved once A.S.A.P?

I agree. We should all go one by one and keep these people busy in doing what they are supposed to be doing. No one here is working for free. We need to express how inhumane this is. I want to ask them personally, how would they feel if they got married and for the first three years, not even three months or six months or even a year, but three years till they see their spouse again. I want to ask them to picture being forced to sit in separate rooms from your spouse for three years. People have been divorced over this. No one wants to marry a "canadian" anymore. People's lives have literally been destroyed. I dont know about anyone else but it's come to a point where I'm irate. I can't even discuss this topic anymore without using some sort of profanity and cursing this government.

Hi,

Since you are a Nov 2011 applicant who has received some good news finally I wanted your feedback about sending additional proof. My complete application with medical was received by CIC on Dec 21,2011 with the federal approval received by my husband on Feb 18, 2012 and my CSQ on Feb 28,2012. Ours was a nikah case and we sent all the proof including telephone bills,emails,photographs etc. Now my rukhsati has taken place in Feb 2013 and i have my photos ready to send..so should i mail them to Islamabad? The latest i know is that my file had been transferred to Islamabad after being in Ottawa for a year with no progress on it being made there. We have also ordered GCMS notes earlier this month so waiting to know what progress has been made.

Please clarify my confusion,should I send the additional proof or wait for a few more weeks to see if I get any response from Islamabad and my GCMS notes?

this is so frustrating >:(
today its been 6 weeks since hubby sent his pp :(

I dont think u should wait. As urs a nikkah case its better to send them rukhsati pics. And u shud send them to islamabad as thats where ur file is now.

No, I didn't send any additional docs. (I was about too though). I ordered notes twice. First time I ordered notes (nothing was started). However, soon after visa officers opened my file. 3 months later I ordered notes again. Then soon after I got remed. If its been around 13-14 months order notes will be beneficial InshAllah.

Hey hubby chubby, did you send any additional documents voluntarily? Or did you request GCMS notes? Its been 17 months now and no word from them after AOR... I'm not sure what I should do...

Here is a guide for the members who will be getting remed in the upcoming days/weeks/months InshAllah.

It is recommended or at times requested to chose your MD for the "panel of physicians" for remed (link provided just below)
http://www.cic.gc.ca/dmp-md/medicalinfo.aspx?CountryID=1999&CountryName=Pakistan

Cost of remed currently: 5600 rps
Time it takes to do remed (depending on amount of people): 3hrs
No remed if: you don't provide paper proof from CHC ISLAMABAD

For Islamabad IOM remed applicants numbers are the following:

PTCL: +92-51-111-466-472 (they don't pick up this one; usually a busy tone)

Call their mobile numbers listed below, InshAllah someone will answer;

+92 306 292 2575 , +92 307 537 1776 (I believe this one got me through)

What to bring to your remed;

Original passport
money
photos (passport size, white background)
Remed form.
Drink water.

*Now remed is delivered directly to new delhi via email*

*No call from IOM after remed means good news*

*According IOM doctors remed is sent off within 48 hrs*
