Medical Exam in Lahore

My wife went to the medical center in Lahore. They told her they can only do medical exam if they receive direction from ISLAMABAD.

When they try calling islamabad nobody picks up the phone.

Does anyone know what the procedure is to get a medical exam done in LAhore?

My area MP told me...I don't how reliable that is.

Anyways i think as you can see that no passport has been returned with visa stamped for the last 2-3 months...which sort of explains this.

well actually 2 members got their pp in early-mid july....so its been about 1.5 months since no pp wid visa is back
lets hope we get our pp back soon.

madam what did you ask him? did you ask him if islamabad office is on strike? and what did he say?

yes i asked him about whether the decision making officer are on strike or not , i am witing for ppr, he said that the strike will not affect ur case. wallah alam

For some weird reasons, I wouldn't trust what MPs say. Most of the time they will reply you without contacting CIC so that you wont bug them.

You might be correct...That's why i have said I don't know how reliable his information is.

I hope you guys are correct, and they are indeed working. Last thing we all want is this damm strike prolong already unreasonable timelines.

thanks to everyone who replied to my question today.... I have to admit it actually feels nice to finally get some sort of communication from Islamabad. Now that my wife received her Remed, what is next? I have a bunch of additional proofs (phone bills and money transfers) that I was going to send, should I send them?

No don't send any aad docs. Maybe in a few days your wife may get a mail in regular post. In it, it might include another remed, imm forms and some other supp forms. After InshAllah its ppr.

Today I received, all original documents back from Ottawa that I had given in back in feb 2012.

In that case you don't need to have any correspondence with ISB office. First medical, you can get a full check-up without contact from ISB VO. Probably, that person doesn't know. Unless rules have changed.

answer is YES to both of ur question 15, yes formal nikkah cermoney was held in masjid.
question at yes there was nikkah reception of about 60 people

Thanks, I was talking to a immigration consultant and he mentioned that the question "Was there a reception" (IMM5490) is referring to Rukhsati and that you need to mention the Nikah ceremony ( masjid) + Nikah Reception in response to question 15 (Was there a formal ceremony to recognize/celebrate the marriage").

I am a Nikah only case and plan to do Rukhsati next summer.

Anyone have any thoughts on this?

Applied for sponsorship, when i will get response for the sponsorship approval? Is it through email or through regular mail?
