"Effective Monday, in order to persuade the Government that binding arbitration remains the responsible way forward to resolve our dispute, PAFSO members will withdraw all services until further notice at Canada's fifteen largest visa processing centres abroad: Abu Dhabi, Ankara, Beijing, Cairo, Delhi/Chandigarh, Hong Kong, London, Manila, Mexico City, Moscow, Paris, Riyadh, Sao Paulo, and Shanghai."

The announcement is a month old so hope it has remained the same till now and members of PAFSO in Islamabad haven't voluntarily started the STRIKE because we haven't seen any passport return with visa for the past month, Allah Help Us ALL! Stay Blessed!

Hi I sent my passport in July and no reply from CHC-I till date, maybe they will wait for STRIKE to over and then they may ISSUE us our visas, btw what does your ECASE online show, does it show IN PROCESS or it only says APPLICATION RECEIVED and MEDICAL RESULTS HAVE BEEN RECEIVED???

3 of our members got remed+repcc
1of member got only landing fee request +repcc

So I finally have some good news to report. My wife received a remed request email today. No PPR though, so I'm a bit confused... anyone think this is strange to not receive ppr with remed?

Nothing wrong with that. PPR doesn't always come with remed. We got remed also, without ppr. Remed was from email and later they mailed it to us also.

Congrats , my husband got his medical done in may 2013 and still waiting for ppr , it's been three months now ,hope we will hear good news soon

Congrats thats great news.
Glad to know that a Nov 2011 case has some progress made.
Fingers crossed for all other Nov/Dec 2011 cases including mine!

I have only received a re-med email beginning of August 2013.
Nothing in the mail..or anything else after that. Is that something i should be concerned about?

Regarding the strike, unfortunately the decision making officers are all on strike. The Pakistani employees that collect all the data etc are only working.
Only essential service is provided. Ya Allah its bad enough already ...how much worse can it get..

I read somewhere that the (The labor board is debating whether to assign an arbitrator to this case, if that happens the foreign office workers will go back to work as a good will gesture even during the arbitration period).
