You may find a spousal kit online or can call the call center to get the kit mailed to you. At the moment the maximum time for ISB is 29 months.

I have an other question now that is confusing me.

I have two children from this marriage both Canadian born and the younger one only few months old.
I am not working, so except from saving, I have no other income. However, my husband from pakistan
sends money quite often. Can I mention that in my application that the sponsor (me) Receives remmittences from her spouse (applicant)? Or would that be a bad idea as it shows that I am dependent on him and thus contradicting the application form (oath undertaking) That i will be financially responsible for him once he get here (Canada).

please help.

thanks.

Rania

For spousal sponsorship its not necessary that the sponsor should have a job. When I applied for my husband I was pregnant and wasnt working. In the forms where they ask you to write that if you are not working tell us about your financial support. I told them that I live with my parents and they are supporting me and when I visit my husband he supports me financially and takes care of my travel expenses. And I will start working again after the birth of my child.

I also included my bank statement as well as my husband's. And his job letter and income.

Now in my case this didnt make any bad impact on my application but I do have a job history in Canada and I started working again wen my son turned 1.

I will suggest you to ask some immigration expert regarding this. Hope this helps u.
