according to my calculations they should pick our cases next month my wife sent email regarding my case but didn't receive anything in return. i am going to order gcms notes at the end of this month or at the start of April.

yes they shud...i really don't know wats happening.....but i got gcms notes this month only and there was no activity in it except dat i came to know dat my file is relaxing in Ottawa whereas i got the file transfer letter from Missisauga....

i don't know either, my file is in Islamabad and i read somewhere that basil came to know from somewhere that his file got transferred from Ottawa to Islamabad recently maybe your file is in Islamabad now. just wait i hope we will here from them soon InshaaAllah.

i don't know either, my file is in Islamabad and i read somewhere that basil came to know from somewhere that his file got transferred from Ottawa to Islamabad recently maybe your file is in Islamabad now. just wait i hope we will here from them soon InshaaAllah.

Hey, I applied in April 2012 and my file was transferred to Islamabad in July 2012. I emailed the CHC Islamabad quite a few times and they have at last replied today and they told me that my file is in process and i should wait patiently and that they will contact me if they want any additional information. Is this a generic email they send to everyone? and i have read a lot on this forum regarding the file transfer to Ottawa but I thought once your application is approved from Mississauga it gets transferred to Islamabad directly and that is what my MP told me.

I know quiet a few ppl in person who went through the same thing...
If I were you I'd hire a lawyer and pull them to court. Since you guys got a letter stating that your file was transferred to ISB or OTTAWA, they can't tell you to count from October 2012. It is not your fault. Apparently they lied to you!!!

Regarding every person's file kept for couple of months after approval and person thinks that his/her file has been forwarded which actually not so call centre agent told me that CIC have right to move file any where they want. So people shouldn't consider their files transferred to visa office they have to make sure with their MP or through Gcms notes even out of 19/20 call centre agent lied to me that my file transferred to Ottawa in mid of February but 1 person name Abdul Aziz probably because of Muslim he said truth that my file was transferred at the end of April.

Sounds like a generic email. Ottawa and Islamabad are working together to process 2012 cases.
