we sent our file on 14th march and i am from pakistan but still there is no kind of any news... i ve seen Pakistani people got AOR on 15th day after sending their file to Missisuaga but we are still in a dead wait queue. Can you please tell me the applicant sent file on same day ? what happened to the people who are sending their file before or after my date in march 2013?

well u can get information from chc website, roughly it takes about 2 months when u get ur passport back after applying.................. u need a sponsorship letter showing that ur sponsor's income, additional letter from mp(or just signature of mp(member of parliament)...but i whoever try visit visa try it via a travel agent.......i can help u about it if u r in khi...... i had a hard luck i didnot got the visa but my cousin who tryed it via a atravel agent got it ...cuz they hav sumthing to do with the tickets.............. , in the end it alllllllllll lluckkk

Yes u can certinly apply for visitor visa if ur spousal application is in progress.

Regarding every person's file kept for couple of months after approval and person thinks that his/her file has been forwarded which actually not so call centre agent told me that CIC have right to move file any where they want. So people shouldn't consider their files transferred to visa office they have to make sure with their MP or through Gcms notes even out of 19/20 call centre agent lied to me that my file transferred to Ottawa in mid of February but 1 person name Abdul Aziz probably because of Muslim he said truth that my file was transferred at the end of April.

yea I am hearing this name a lot... he is becoming famous on this forum...lol

As salaam o alaykum raombee! Don't worry, I applied to sponsor my hubby last year on March 16, 2012 and got a response on July 18, 2012. So Insha'Allah you will hear soon from CHC!!
