CHC, Islamabad Spouse Sponsorship Timeline 2012 -2013

Hey guys me and my brother both sponsored our wives in June and July in 2012.. at begging on CIC website for both our status was "Decision made".. but, now mine changed to "in process" while his is the same "decision made". So what is going on here? should i be worried or should he? or we both good?

I just wanted to ask you where doesit say "in process" is it under sponsorship status or application status??

Please share the first place where you would take your spouse when they land in Canada. What is your first choice of place of vacation/leisure in Canada?

we are in Montreal, and i took my wife for a week's trip to Vancouver. totally amazing, and gave her a break from the massive snow dumps in Montreal.

Salaam to everyone... Haven't been to this forum in awhile. i have a few questions from the members here. What are the odds of getting a visiting visa for spouse? Has anyone here have been successful in getting visiting visa for their spouse? I am thinking of sending my wife an invitation letter to come and visit me, but i don't really have a solid reason. it is just to come and visit me. Not sure if that would be enough convincing for the immigration office to allow her to come over for a visit. I would greatly appreciate any help from members here.

As you know for the Pakistani community visit visa is a toss up. Depends on the Visa Officer and your luck. Some people got visit visa and others failed in it. However, you must satisfy the Visa officer that spouse will return to Pakistan upon expiry of visa. Like i said its luck. You may go ahead and try it.
