scaned docs are not originals. They don't meet the requirements...

Just answer one more thing if she send me scaned of her birth certificate,educational doc is it work for orignals? Plz reply soooooon

Emailing the "minister" doesn't complicate or delay your case. Due to the fact, the minister won't read it, his secretary will.

so guys i spoke to my representative abt delay in transfer of my file to ottawa (app filed feb 2012, approved may 2012 but was transferred to ottawa in oct,2012) so she said she will send an email to Mississauga to inquire why they had 5 months gap to transfer the file after the approval. i told her that i send an email to minister of immmigration to inquire about this delay at minister @ gc.cic.ca. she said i should not have done that bcz it will complicate my case and they will delay it but in the email i wrote to minister i gave him my file number name etc and explained that mississauga transferred file late. and they sent automatic reply that they will reply in 10 to 30 days. no i am really worried my representative said i shouldnt have done that

Basil bhai, I cant tell you not to worry cuz if I was in your shoes I would feel pretty depressed. You always have such positive attitude, Allah SWT aap jaisay achay insaan ke sath kuch bura nahi karay ga...and we all know that Allah SWT will never test us beyond our ability to bare. Bro why you want to do this ? are you kind a looking for trouble ? You know why they ask original from Pakistani people because there are so many fake and tempered papers made in Pakistan and they don't trust any copy. Already our original documents in Pakistan look like Sh**t.

By doing color copies and sending them pretending that these are original, you are committing infraction (crime), it is falsification of documents, you are lieing about them to be original. If they find out about it. Sorry to say but then you can say Bye Bye to your immigration.

If you need your document just make scan for yourself or get a Duplicate from your College uniuversty but don't send copies to them a pretend as if they are original, Big mistake you will make.

jan 2012 or jan 2013? even the 2012's haven't been fully touched yet, there may have been a few here and there, but right now the bulk seems to be at the end of 2011 applicants.

Bro why you want to do this ? are you kind a looking for trouble ? You know why they ask original from Pakistani people because there are so many fake and tempered papers made in Pakistan and they don't trust any copy. Already our original documents in Pakistan look like Sh**t.

i totally agree with you ... there is already enough reason for them give scrutiny to such documents, why add another layer of scrutiny of our own doing? i understand that you may need them for other purposes during the wait, but a scanned copy plus an explanation that the originals have been sent to CHC-Islamabad, and maybe even copies of your acknowledgement letter should help suffice these inquiries. the other option is to give islamabad the copies, and risk them delaying it while they ask you for the originals, and if the originals are with some other application that you had decided was more important to get the originals then you are in a bit of a pickle. yes the timelines are long, but recent posts over the last 2 months on this forum have shown that many people are getting their visa between 17-23 months period. in sept 2012 50% of the applicants got there completion within ~18 months for the 12 months preceeding that. so islamabad is clearing away their backlog, with the help of ottawa, and insha allah the timeline posted next quarter will reflect that.

after file transfer ... islamabad can only start on it after they receive your file from mississauga, they don't even know you have applied till then. stage 1, the part in mississauga, for spouses is currently listed at 30 days.

also remember that each case is different, so use these posted timelines with a grain of salt, your personal case may be faster or slower based on your own circumstances (first or second marriage, kids involved, divorces, nikah only, etc.) and what you have included in your application (documents, proofs, gaps in timeilnes for education or residences, etc.)

I filed my case in nov 2011 ... got AOR in jan 2012... no response after that n after inquiring from the call centre I got to know that its in Ottawa so when should we expect a reply? some of the cases I knw of got their reply in feb and now they r in Canada (applied in Oct 2011)
