CHC, Islamabad Spouse Sponsorship Timeline 2012 -2013

Interesting, that would be 13 months since application. A rare and lucky person indeed. Us here at the forum are still stuck, no news...

Yeah he was luck that his wife's case was done in 13 months but CHC contacted him after 8 months that he did not send enough pictures and as ked him to send in 15 days so he went to Pakistan and had that done and now his wife got the letter to submit the passport and I know some one else whose wife came here in 11 months. I have heard that they are taking 12 months for wife cases and little longer for husband cases.

Alot of 2011 cases are done. I hope our timeline comes down to 13 months like ali ca case. His file transfered in feb 2012 and ppr in feb 2013

I realllyyyyyyyyyyy hope so!!! I just passed one year mark from the date I filed. Application was transferred in July 2013 so I wish to hear good news in August.

i m a wife case, applied back in sep 2011, file transfer in november 2011,, no news uptill now,not even a remed repcc requets. very straight forward case, loads of proof. there is no set criterion for them, they do whatever they please.

Today my wife got call from cic Mississauga call centre and the lady on call says we received file inquiry email from your MP and i want to let you know that all issues are resolved and your file has been return forwarded to Islamabad for further process & currently your file "Inprocess" so soon you will hear something from Islamabad.

I called my MP too and as I applied in april 2012 and my file was transferred in July 2012 so she told me that I should wait up till July 2013 and see if CHC contacts my wife in Pakistan as right now it will be in process and she will not be able to get any more details. It was good to contact my MP as they really help. From your time line I believe that she was right as your case almost took 12 months after the file was transferred to Pakistan.

Well yesterday I received my notes . I am surprised to see how organized they are , they have entered each and every detail .. From day first to date... It has 37 pages and was really hard to read and understand.
Anyways cut the story short what I understood my file was first in Mississauga then Ottawa and on November 2012 it got transferred to islamabad. Which is a good sign. 2nd all the stuff (criminality, eligibility, security) has not started yet but their due date is July 2013, coz whatever the previous notes had due date, They completed that assignment within that date. But I have kind of sympathies for them coz the job they do and the work load they have is not easy at all.. Specially after looking at my notes..

So my notes and Basil's call is a big sign of hope .. INSHALLAH early 2012 will get their remed+ppr b4 may 2013. INSHALLAH
