i want to know that should i take immigration consultant or not pls reply with your experience

I would recommend not going for a consultant. They know nothing in addition to what's publicly available. And you're going to be the one who provides them all the documents and info anyway, so why not do it for yourself. I would say consultants are only beneficial for either really busy people or either people people who are unable to decipher the simple nuances of the process themselves.

Congragulation. I want to ask u one question. Is ur wife canadian citizen or permanent resident? And when she sponserod u how many time she lived with u in pakistan. I mean one who have permanent resident card Is it very necessary for his/her to live in canada during the file sponsership period.

Thank You so much My wife is a Canadian Citizen. She visited me once during this process. You can visit your spouse but dont stay more then 3 months.

2010 : 52
2011: 1,573
2012 (Jan to sept) 2,780

Don't forget the Ottawa also started receiving file from US (buffalo and other ??) also in 2012. And 2012 is only for 9 myonths.

Buffalo (i don't know what other VO were closed and transferred to Ottawa)

2010: 2,942
2011: 2,360
2012 (Jan to Sep): 93

We don't have the figures for Q4 2012 and Q1 2013 so we have to wait, I don't know when CIC will file them to Data site

Just to give you an idea India has approval rate of 78% and processing time goes Same day to max 3 days.
