Hi there,

I have a question. I went to the CIC online website and when I checked my wife's Permanent Residence Application Status, its says the following:

"We received (My wife's name) application for permanent residence on May 28, 2012. Medical results have been received."

Now the date you have up there is the date the Mississauga Office received my wife's application. Shouldn't the date on the Permanent Residence Application Status show the date when the application is received in Islamabad?

One more question, I am not sure about the other people's timelines, but my wife's application should have been received by the Islamabad Visa Office by July 2012, It has been approximately 7 months, still no news or status update. Is this how long it is taking these days?

Have you tried to send them a message? and did you get a file # starting with F00*****
if yes, nothing to worry my cousin has been waiting since December 2011 and no news

We need to ask someone on the inside in Ottawa about their plans regarding the CHC-I transfer files.
The call center agents have NO CLUE what is happening there.
Maybe an MP can help get this informtion? My MP is useless...

Perhaps when they do start looking at the cases its going to be raining VISAs.. wishful thinking..

On the other thread there is an applicant who got sponsorship approval Jan 2012 and ordered GCMS notes (Nothing has started) and file is in Ottawa. WTF are these people in Ottawa doing? I am getting so annoyed.

yeah they don't respond you because some immigration officers don't like to respond if ur case is in it's regular processing time. Nothing to worry you aren't the only one. Allah(swt) is great!!!
don't depend on e-case alot everyone has different timeline. Example, for me as soon as they received my husband's application it said we received (******) application and under that "we started processing (*******) application" at the same time as they received it. Which is so unusual to majority of applicant. Alotta ppl here mentioned it say we started processing when they actual start to decide to send u ppr requeat..
